On a pay per play basis I'd have no problem with him coming back. Good player when the ground is hard early and late season. Disappears when it's cold and muddy though so just don't pick him in midwinter :)

Has anyone come back to us and been good? ???

Zamora, when he came back permanently after having been on loan and then gone away.

I'd say thanks, but no thanks :nono:

Little 'Billy Elliot' had far too many off games for us, and don't get me started on his heading/tackling capabilities

However he did score one of the BEST goals I've ever seen live, away at Bournemouth six (?) years back in a midweek league game...nearly broke my leg tumbling forward in celebration ;)

I don't want him back either. I bet his pace has left him, and as has been said before, he was a total PANSY.

I just want to remember him being part of that fine back to back championship side. Can't we just leave it there?

Doesn't seem to be a particularly liked player at Brentford according to their board (they have picked up on the rumours)

Brooker left us for 'better' things which is perogative as a professional footballer however he's hardly set any of the three teams he played for alight. He had his good days but frankly they were out numbered by the number of times he disappeared.

Can't see how he can improve this squad.

I would definitely have him back... Very creative player, if a little wet. He won us a lot of games, and at times was breathtaking to watch at our level...
...when he had a bit of pace.

He'll be shit now, you wait.
