Tw@Is this still the lead story in football?
Christ, I'd take 25 stitches to get £100,000 a week and the very best treatment and care to recovery.
Stop being such pùssies, Palace, and move on.
a big old gash
Oh fùck off.
Their keeper will probably get a 6 match ban, which is about right for such a poor challenge.Millwall have apparently banned the Daily Mail from matches and press conferences for their reporting of the fans "let him die chant"

OLIVER HOLT: Millwall must own their horror tackles and vile chanting
OLIVER HOLT: The last time I went to The Den, as an away fan, was 15 years ago this month. I'm a stadium dork so I keep records. I remember it fairly clearly anyway.www.dailymail.co.uk
I take zero pleasure in linking the Daily Mail but if Millwall have managed to let them take the high ground...that's not a great look.
Hurts them even more that most are ambivalent about themTheir keeper will probably get a 6 match ban, which is about right for such a poor challenge.
As others have said, chanting let him die (or dig a hole, which is my favourite) at a player who we think is feigning injury is, IMO, fine and happens at most matches. Shouting it at a player going off to A+E isn’t such a good look. Millwall fans will have grunted much worst over the years and will continue to do so, I think the club should have just kept quiet and waited for it to blow over.
It's probably already been said but they, both the club and their fans, really do care what others think about them and they hate that no one likes them. Shame as it's a cracking day out (at the Den) with a decent view from the away end.
I think it's more just a constant sense of "oh Millwall, when will you grow up?"Hurts them even more that most are ambivalent about them

Assume we'll be having a minutes applause for him on the 8th minute tomorrow and he'll get a banner on the legends wall outside the west stand?Six match ban for Liam Roberts.
Wow - so he's not going to be on the bench for Millwall's next 5 games!!Six match ban for Liam Roberts.
