palace v brighton

Rivalry is what it's all about.

I can remember the Palace games of a bygone era, fondly so. I never got slapped, stabbed, punched or trodden on. I enjoyed some gerat games with an electric atmosphere. My 10 year old who does not miss a game, now cannot wait til he see us play them for the 1st time.

Surprised to see such a nob end post from someone who ususally says a bit of sense on here.

Bring on our RIVALS and let's batter them!

I would suggest that the Portsmouth games are or will be more high profile if you consider the reaction of the police etc when S,A & B wanted us to ground share with them.

Incidentally I am all in favour of the rivalry but not the continued reference to punch ups and pubs being smashed. Isnt this what we fought to overcome in the 70s and 80s and dont want or need to return to those days.

Like king cole I remember some good old fashioned banter between the respective fans and fortunately I have not been involved in any of the violence mainly due to the policing in Norwood.

A little reminder for you lot.You now have 18500 season ticket holders, impressive I admit, but this brings problems. With 3000 tickets available to you (trust me that will be it) there is going to be a right binfest on here as to who should get them.I would go for 1901 club members followed by anyone that was a season ticket holder at Withdean.
6-1 odds lads.

Cracking attempt at a wind up but the club have already said they are introducing a priority points system for away games this season, like Englandfans

How does the prioty points system work? Have the club realised details on how it'll be done as I've not seen anything realised from the club as yet.

football needs rivalry, I applaud any youngsters willing to carry on the Hate Chrystal Palarse for generations to come. If it leads to violence then so what, it happens and will never be stopped completely, i'd worry more about our troops than a few drugged up burberry clad goons slapping each other for 10minutes.....hell I've had worse fights in a Mosh Pit at a Machine Head gig than those little lads and their get togethers. But yes...anywhere near the AMEX and they can f*** OFF.....take it somewhere else lads.

I'm rambling and need food!

very much agreeing with this , every club has it = it keeps football interesting and fun

however I do worry about this..

it was tough enough getting tickets for the last game , without having to fight against three times as many people to get one :(
