[Football] Palace took less than a thousand to Leicester....

Not sure about travel but tickets were dirt cheap for MK.
I went to MK when we had 7,000 there. I think the tickets were £12 a pop and the club wanted to get folk there. I know Wolves took 9,000.

You seem to be getting very defensive on this one.
No problem with any individual fan not wanting to spend their hard earned on away games.

There is a bit of mileage to be had when the self-appointed "Best fans in the Premier League" can't rustle together 5% of their home attendance to travel a couple of hours up country to support their team.
The best fans when they place the tv mics in front of the singers clad in black more like.
It’s all bollocks and all stadiums are similar in the PL.
When your team is playing well it’s lively when you can’t win for a period it’s shite.

That's the only thing I'm defending. I don't know about the best fans thing. I know much is made of Selhurst Park and its cauldron. I wasn't aware that they claim to be anything more away from home.

Think they had a record league attendance that day

Wouldn't be so bad if we didn't constantly read how wonderful their support is.

Can't blame them. I wouldn't pay £100 or something to watch Leicester - Crystal Palace either. I didn't even watch it for free on some dirty stream last night.

Naylor likes to spend his time winding up Albion fans, why anyone still pays any attention to the berk is beyond me.
Can't blame him. Neither can you.

You're broke though. And you don't support Leicester or palace.

How about having better things to do with your money ? Is that a good excuse ?

Are we all to be away fans now ? What's the official club line ? Only me nerdish pursuit takes up a lot of the day and I like to settle down in the evening with a nice cup of tea. I couldn't do it full time.

This is great. I go to more away games than home. I live in London and prefer the adventure at away games.

However , the point still remains whether you're a saddo or not. We have more loyal fans than palace.

It's just a bit of fun

Not sure what the point of this is, I’ve been to untold Albion aways over the years that have attached less than 1000 (I’ve been to quite a few that have attracted less than 200)

I look back on these with fond memories as we always had a sing up and a good laugh
I agree with most of this, but then no one was fawning over our incredible support, nor did we self style ourselves as Ultras.

Hats off to the Geordies.
50% more distance travelled than the next worst, over twice as much as Palace

Can I suggest that despite all the early season banter Palace probably have as good a chance of making Europe as we do?
