You know what? Even if it is a load of bollocks, even if it is a tired joke, even if attendances don't matter, even if he is an idiot - I want to come clean and admit that TheMajor's posts make me chuckle.

Something about the insistence to keep banging exactly the same drum over and over again that gets me.

There you have it.

The problem is that they have undisputed bragging rights after the play-offs. The wound will take longer to heal to all those who want to contribute to this board (including responding to the scum trolls) all the while these threads are given the time of day. It is a bit like a streetfight where we took an uppercut and went down but insisted on tickling the ankles of our foe with a feather whilst giggling like a toddler.

I'm almost inclined to agree as he does have a strange comedic value somehow, I wish he'd stop lying though, God will definitely smite him one day for that.

So you HAVE sold out, for your big Premiership return on Sunday, then?

He said we've reduced our capacity to 24,000, if that's the case then yes, yes we have.

In reality, there are 500 tickets left according to the official site, whether they're restricted view or not, I don't know. Hopefully it will sell out as whoever bought a ticket for this game had to buy one for a Category B game which should ensure guaranteed healthy attendances.

Enjoying the season so far? I have to say, I'm glued to The Championship given the quality of it this season.

So the only way you could sell tickets for the less glamorous Prem games was to tie them into the bigger games - you lot are priceless. What does it take for you to get off your collective arses and go ?

IT guarantees 'income' rather than 'attendances' for the Cat B games, surely? Those Spurs fans that have bought them are hardly likely to actually show up for the Stoke game are they?

I'm sure I will, once I actually finish all my holiday stuff and make a game.

He is banging the same drum over and over again because he is a narrow minded moron. He has got sucked into believing that everybody cares about this ridiculous rivalry between a neutral seaside club and a London club surrounded by chimney pots, drawing from the two most populous London boroughs ( nearly a million people ) The Amex might have a larger capacity than Selhurst but it doesn't mean we have larger potential. There is no way on God's earth we have a million people to draw from.
He is an idiot because there are far more important issues close to hand. He wants to stop for a minute and start realising what Palace stand to gain from reaching the PL. This season they will get £63m from Sky. We will get £2.5m. Over the next four years, they will get ( even if they go straight back down ) something in the region of £150m.
They will be on a different planet to us, even if they are in the same division. They will have rebuilt and updated their ground and will be able to afford better players than us. In short, they will leave us far behind, unless we get promoted.
I couldn't give a wet fart about Palace's season ticket sales. They are in a far better position than us because they had the right manager at the right time. Not some ego-centric individual who wasn't bothered what happened but was more bothered about his next career move.
The Major should book himself in for an MRI scan to see whether they can detect any brain matter. On second thoughts, don't bother...it would be a complete and utter waste of taxpayers money.

Thank you.

That show's you are not a season ticket holder at Palace although you have claimed to be, you'd know how wrong that statement is if you were.

We don't have either at the moment (our instalment plan isn't over 12 months). Hope is to have a DD scheme set up by next season though.

I'm sure I will, once I actually finish all my holiday stuff and make a game.

If they buy a membership plus 2 games, it'll cost them more than 80 quid to see one game, in the home end for a game that is on Sky, madness but I assume a handful will do this.

Hopefully the rest will be in attendance for a Cat B game,

But is the laughter at him or with him ????

I suspect he's in on the joke, given the SUPERB thread that he came out with after St Patricks Day. Anyone that can produce an opening post of that quality clearly knows exactly what they're doing. So definitely with.

I reckon you lot like him as well. :moo:

Read my signature. We are already two people up on last years average.

You have 6m people to draw on living within a 10 mile radius of your Club - you don't need travel, most could walk there - we have about 1m living in Sussex.

Can't understand your poor support - I thought you all said you were "massive" and the best supporters in whichever league you are in. It appears not.
