I cannot for the life me see how it matters that Palace are a small club. I don't like them anymore than the rest of us, but ffs it's not about the size of the club. Great we get 30,000 in the Championship but jeez who cares that Palace don't have a massive following? That's not what football is about.

Being a small club you get the 'underdog' advantage - like we did at the Amex when you were already debating which blocks at Wembley to book. Still brings a clacktastic smile.

England 12-0 btw.

My son phoned me the day before the 2nd leg of the semi final to discuss travelling arrangements for the final but didn't understand why I said we would talk about it later in the week. Jumping the gun and all that  Football is a funny old game.

Also guilty. I was planning to take my Dad to Wembley for his birthday. Checked out block prices, the lot.

Not me - I just find the subject of Palace ticket-sales intensely dull. I ignore your threads these days, unless you're going to reference me directly as you have done here.

The fact is we've had bigger gates than them (and everybody else) since the two years since the Amex was built. But their gates were bigger than ours for the previous 30 years. Plus, they beat us when it mattered.

This sort of thing is just utterly cringeworthy.
.
Just beat my deadline by 3 minutes  well done the "Reigate-based Brighton & Hove Albionista, patio layer, torch juggling flairniac." Cringeworthy indeed :)

On a separate note - if you are ignoring my threads unless they directly reference you - how do you know if you are directly referenced. Is there some sort of NSC gizmo that alerts you - if so I want one - please tell more

I'm still amazed that you could fit all your fans into Wembley

No, it's quite simple. I tend to dip into most threads, even the ones that are likely to be dull. Had you not made reference to me in your post, I'd have ignored it.

Obvious to all but the biggest of simpletons I'd have thought.

Aah- the old ignoring it by reading it trick " flairtastic"

Did we ever get confirmation that the 15,000 includes Bigbelly ?

Plenty of room for him -

From the horses CPFC2010 mouth yesterday following closure of the attempted sale of the 16k season tickets -

" Season Ticket sales are about 15100 with the last few being processed now before Spurs, Sunderland, Swansea, Fulham and Everton go on sale to members tomorrow.

The remaining seats in the ground are as follows :-

Lower Holmesdale - 254 (all at the front of blocks E to H)

Upper Holmesdale - 186 (at the back of blocks H-L then R-S)

Main stand - 679 (mainly blocks A and B)

Arthur - 2958 (quite an even spread best availability X&Y)

Restricted Views - Main stand 279, Whitehorse 23, Arthur 458

In addition there's Block U in the Arthur (the former sterile block) that we're hoping to use for home fans for most games. "

Seems the self proclaimed "Holmesdale Fanatics" are not quite fanatical enough to buy a season ticket

Major. Straight question: This attendances thing, is it a wind up or does the fact that Brighton currently have more bums on seats than Palace really matter to you?

Reduced their capacity to 24k for Spurs and still can't sell out :ffsparr:

http://www.cpfc.org/forums/showthread.php?t=246015

Talk about doing "deals" to shift them - post 41 :lolol:

:lolol:

You know what? Even if it is a load of bollocks, even if it is a tired joke, even if attendances don't matter, even if he is an idiot - I want to come clean and admit that TheMajor's posts make me chuckle.

Something about the insistence to keep banging exactly the same drum over and over again that gets me.

There you have it.
