Keep going Major...Palace in a higher division but selling circa 10,000 less ST's than us deserves complete & extended ridicule

No it's not. Your obsession with ticket sales when they are in higher division having knocked us out play-offs is embarrassing. Let it go, or just move to the palace board.

He's been a constant there for the last two years. Unsurprisingly enough he stopped coming in after the playoffs. Not sure why?
That said I reckon he's a palace fan on a clever windup.

Naughty COYP - you know I've been banned on there for over a year. Palace mods with no balls - a little banter and you run away.

PS - 18 more Palace ST sold today !

Major, I like reading the stats. I think tho the palace fans have got the message and they know they have a smaller support than us. Take the summer off and start again in the new reason. As for administration helping them, yes they got away with it, Palace kept their league status because of paying wages they couldn't afford and Pompey won the Cup by the same method. But that's life, they got away with it, we have to do what we are doing, concentrate on ourselves and in 5 years, well lets just see shall we.. and what is more, look at Coventry now and just think that was us not so long ago, but with a longer journey, a worse team and the M25 to navigate.

That's a very polite way of telling me to Feck Off isn't it ? Still at least it's polite.

Am I allowed a sneaky look and post on how poorly the Scum are selling Tickets for the best league in the World ? It is a little funny.

I enjoy the stats and you make very sound points about the administration. But the sun is out, the summer is here and there is plenty of time for this when the season starts again. Totally up to you, but I look forward to the to your stats next season. Mullers was spot on, they are not worth loose change as their attendances, gpoal music and drum banging teenagers show. So I'm just grateful I support a proper club and its time to enjoy the summer.

Funny how nobody gets into a strop when kingcole starts his regular threads of a countdown on another sell out at The Amex ?

What? A thread about BRIGHTON on NSC? Christ, I'm glad you mentioned it. That needs to be stopped immediately.

The match threads will have to go too, they appear literally every week! Player ratings threads will have to go too, same reason.

They couldn't even sell 15,000 season tickets for the Prem.

What happened to the 35k that went to Wembley ? - Tinpot fans.:ffsparr::tosser::ffsparr:

They might scrape over the 15,000 mark with a last minute rush on the final day of sales
I note that Pompey have been able to shift 150-200 season tickets per day for a while now and have over 10k already which is very good for a League 2 club.

Final day has been and gone - no mention of how many sold on Club website or BBS so it is a safe assumption that they did not sell out as predicted/boasted.

Can you think of another Championship Club that would fail to sell 16k allocation of ST's for the Prem ? (Wigan maybe & QPR, Yeovil & Bournemouth on capacity limits only).

To be fair though, Pompey are a far bigger club than little old palace.

They certainly are.

How can a Club with a 6million population living within a 10 mile radius of it fail to sell 16k (reasonably priced) season tickets for the Prem?

PS - I give it half an hour before Simster/Ninja Elephant/WhingForPresident tell me to feck off

Loving your work @TheMajor
Not only winding up palarse fans but tedious BHAFC cocknockers as well

Very much this.

I've had to put up with Palace tools barking on about how much bigger a club they are than us for years, now we have the proof that they are not, so lets just keep reminding them. Keep up the good work.

Not me - I just find the subject of Palace ticket-sales intensely dull. I ignore your threads these days, unless you're going to reference me directly as you have done here.

The fact is we've had bigger gates than them (and everybody else) since the two years since the Amex was built. But their gates were bigger than ours for the previous 30 years. Plus, they beat us when it mattered.

This sort of thing is just utterly cringeworthy.

I know I should find TheMajor's posts dull, but there's something about how repetitive the whole thing is (like a Fast Show sketch or something) that I can't help but find funny.

Plus there was that SUPERB thread after St. Patrick's Day. Keep it coming, I say.
