Our chairman just spent about £120m over the last year or so. I'm sure we could afford the (overvalued) £4-5m required for Wilfried.

How on earth can you say Vicente is worth nothing to us? He could be the difference between being in the play-offs and not. Worth is not only about money.

You say you have all this money to spend, but I can garuntee you if it stays in the bank, then it won't have any possitive effect on the pitch. Vicente on the other hand will. Therefore at the moment Vicente is worth a lot more than your millions in the bank.
