.....hang on a minute, we've been here before with Palace, they'll probably finish 8th and get a Cup Final appearance

Now confirmed that Zaha has signed for Galatasary
Great signing video. Zaha walks into their trophy room and says ‘I’ve never seen this number of cups at all’.... dig at Palace?

Suggests that Chelsea are in for Guehi?
Oh please .... for a couple of reasons:

a. Really funny
b. Shifts their transfer targets focus

Still don't understand how palace got olise for 8 million. It was so clear at the time that he would ball in the premier League. He was absolutely amazing for reading. Think the agent fooked up big time.
Attitude problems rumoured I thought. Palace better at accommodating dickheads perhaps and maybe he's worked through those issues now? If there's a low release fee that might explain it too, go to a club that would fit him well so that he could prove his talent and stability, then go somewhere decent

He'd spent time in Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City's academies before moving to Reading, so clearly there's something a bit off about him that perhaps has now been resolved (or perhaps not...?)

The £8M fee to Palace was reportedly a release fee, so it would never have gone higher and clearly he thought they were his best option at the time. Hmmm - maybe it's his decision making that's a problem...?

Not entirely sure what the plan is up the road? Zero activity, Hodgson back, two major players departing with virtually nobody incoming…is something seriously bad happening under the bonnet?

They’ll still finish 12th. Palace’s tenure in the Premier League is a bit like watching the US Office, where somehow the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin keeps going, despite the constant threat of going out of business.

Power struggle between Parish (made more money out of Palace then he’s ever put in) & Texor (multi club Yank)

This is where they find out that a Cat A Academy development is a long-term process and that only 2 years of the acadamey operating and season-long loans of the most promising players to League 1&2 clubs isn't going to backfill at senior Premier League level.

#cpfc on Twitter makes for tremendous reading this evening after the Zaha and Olise news today.

Their squad is truly awful they are in trouble

But they have just freed up at least £200k per week for wages. That should be three very good players, or one Benteke!

They assumed Zaha would sign a new contract and had no plan b worked out.
