Barnet 1, Crystal Palace 0.

Improvement on last year it was 6-2 then.

They are aiming for a top 10 finish this season.

( and , yes I do know it’s only a friendly, but it’s still funny)

So we've got The Premier tournament in the States, and Palace have Barnet

I hope no one pops up with any facts that ruin this little jibe.
... and there are plenty of counter fixtures to choose from (or let's hope we don't have a stinker of a tournament)

Palace are also playing a couple of games in the US at the same time as us, against Millonarios (Colombia) and Sevilla (Spain).

Strange isn't it, during the season managers / clubs bemoan the amount of games their players have to play and then drag them off to the good ol' US of A for a pre-season tournament (and some sneak a game or two in during the season for "sponsors".)

It was a good goal that deserved to win a far better game than this

Poor game, with our team being a mixture of first team, fringe and youth players, that changed completely at half time

Still emphasised our need for a striker, as both Mateta and Eduoard looked out of their depth against Barnet

Looks like he’s going this time.

Personally, I’m not that bothered, he’s a bit of a busted flush now.

Agreed. I’d rather he stayed, they pay him £200k a week and that would utterly throttle the chance of them signing younger, better players by using a fair chunk of the budget.

Anyway 👋 Seggers, enjoy Turkey where your desperately pleading eyes will be working overtime to try and convince the ref that you were fouled. As ever: “Stiff shit, son, get up and get on with the game….”

Let’s be fair, he’s had a relatively successful elite-level career, so I can understand the lure of playing European football offered by Galatasary, which is something that Palace will never provide him.

Unlike BHA.

If you want to get over your Sunday night blues, #CPFC on Twitter is a right old laugh at the moment. Beaky getting an unsurprising bashing amidst a Private Frazer-fest of ”we’re all doomed”.

Seggers has dropped a little video of him saying hello to the Galatasary fans with Olise soon to be uttering an “au revoir“ by all accounts.

Marvellous.

They'll be fine all those academy superstars will effortlessly slot in.
Don’t forget the lad that scored a few goals for Charlton last year!!!
