Can any of the Palace fans put the link on here to the new owners/investors that 26-10-02 refers to.
I can only see the thread where there is a lot of hope of David Gold buying out Jordon.
Look at page 115 onwards you see the change in direction.James is the most pessimistic fans on there and knows legal and finance issues inside out.SW16 girl is the same.A couple of posters say they have heard things but cannot say so they are dismissed as rumours.About 10 pages on claphamgrand posts that he is optimistic. It dosen't sound much but he is usually right and in the know.Even james changes his view.It may not sound much to you but he is not prone to posting bollox. with no facts behind him.If nothing happens this month then he is probably wrong but lets see.(it's all we have got)

The attendance from you lot wasn't that great at Torquay. We filled our end there a couple of years ago for a first leg league cup match at night.Deluded the lot of you.

So what went wrong for you after that?
The away stand at Torquay is supposed to hold 1100, which if you filled is very impressive. Attendance on Tuesday Aug 12 2003 was only 3366.
Roll forward a few years to Tuesday Aug 11 last year, league cup v Torquay at Smellhurst. How many Palarse fans? 2721. (419 Torquay on top of that)
So, some opinions and conclusions-
Support for Palarse is dropping faster than Kathy O'Khae's knickers
You are exaggerating
Torquay probably took more away, in reality, than you did
Deluded? Look in the mirror mate.

Oh of course!!!
A 1st round draw v Torquay was always going to attract thousands!!!
Don't make out you've got better fans than us-you can't even fill the capacity at Withdean.

f***ing hell mate do you want vinegar with that chip. You are f***ing obsessed the lot of you.If I could be bothered I am sure I could find some poor attendances from your lot.One of your lot on here says the last time he went to wednesday there was about 80 of you,now that is shit support.Concentrate on your own shit crowds at the witherdick and the gallstone (amusing names like palarse-not).Perhaps if your attendances had been better in the 90's you would not have been in the shit you are.I cant wait till falmer is built then we will see where all these fans are coming from.Once fans have stopped going it is hard to get them back.

i think i went to shef w last time we were there and sure we had a bit of a disappointing 800 to 1000 for a sheffield game. Usually get 1500 to sheffield on a saturday.Rotherham was about 7oo a few years ago? Weird if we took 80, unheard of think we took a few hundred to swansea on a tuesday night in the paint pot cup!

Dont ask me ask kinky gerbils.Unlike some of you I dont trawl the internet looking for facts on a team that I hate.

Yes James and SW16 are the two who seemed to be posting with some knowledge, plus one other who I think is an accountant.
James last post, last night, he did not seem to optimistic.

It's true. I only say that a negotiated takeover is unlikely because the debts are so large. It doesn't make commercial sense for anyone to pay anything for the Club.

The only question is whether Jordan can afford to settle some of the debts prior to any sale. If he can, yes, a negotiated sale is a possibility. However time is against us. If he cannot, then Administration is the most likely outcome.

In all honesty, I haven't given up all hope of a negotiated sale, which would allow us to keep Moses et al ... but my 'glass half empty' approach is to expect the worse so whatever happens I won't be too disappointed

there are lots of clubs that need a buyer at the moment. Im no expert but i would have thought a club that owns its own ground would be first on the list. Selhurst is in the hands of administrators who have a legal fduty to creditors to get the best price for the poperty. Now if someone wanted to invest in selhurst the sie by turning it into a retail park then that would seem to make sense for the people owed money..
