The owners of the ground (rock investments I think) are in administration. The administrators are pricewaterhousecooper.the club are discussing a new deal with them .Things are moving behind the scenes and reliable sources on the BBs are confident of new owners /investors,whether it is before admin. or not is a mute point. So dont get to excited our club will be around for some time.

I am not one of these fans who want to see you go out of business and I hope for the fans sake these rumours are true. I would hate to see any club go through what we have done in the past. But I must say that I have been following your problems and I think the state of your club is the worst I have read about in many a year. The fact the only thing you own at present is the players registrations and any money gained from selling players goes to a company called Agillo is my understanding. This makes the winding up order by the HMR, a very dangerous situation for the club. It also is not a very good investment prospect for any potential future buyer.

Added to that,we'll get a prem club in today's draw and make a few quid,or will get lower league rubbish(you lot at home will do) and progress further....

What did she wear?? She wore, she wore, she wore a red and blue ribbon
She wore a red and blue ribbon
In the merry month of May
And when I asked her why she wore that ribbon
She said it's for the Palace
And we're going to Wemberlee
Wemberlee Wemberlee
We're the famous Crystal Palace
And we're going to Wemberlee
Ten years after Brighton & hove Albion went to Wemberlee
And we still have yet to win the Charity Shield

Selhurst Park retai development?.. sort of fits nicely

Still banging on about the worthless, meaningless Charity Shield?
And that's all you've got to cling to.
Hahahahahahaha.
btw,our record attendance was well over 50,000.

51000 (1979 against Burnley) is that right?

Followed by just 7 years later ( Feb 1986 3744 against Carlisle at Selhurst)
Its funny how things can change!

Official attendance was over 51,000 but to those of us who were there,it was nearer 60,000.
And you're right, our crowds did slump.Much of that was down to the appointment of Mullery as boss.We lost many fans because of that tosser!

Of the 50K how many went because it was a big game as against who went because the supported palace..? I know people at that game who were fans of other london clubs. oh and the soldstone could not hold 50K and that is why official attendance is 36K but actually lke all clubs much more. 3K against carlisle less than a few years later sums up palace, its like your away support..a joke. elhurst retail park has a nice ring to it. I think Bloom should look into it..

You would never have gotten near 50,000 even if Toys r Us/Gallstone had that capacity.
I love the fact that you cling at straws.Makes us feel even more superior than we already are and have been since both clubs were formed.

In just 18 months from now SJ,you will see the gap in our respective home attendances reduce. falmer will put us at least level with you imo.

you dont think we would, based on er what!? Do you really feel superior? Why? You have never won a major trophy, your away support floats between half and a quarter that of our away support, and you took years to emulate our achievement of getting to the cup final. You would never have survived ground sharing 140 mile round trip away and you are known as the nigels because you are a boring club. Weird sense of superiority! Very odd. They are turning selhurst park into a new retail par a new retail park, a new retail park
