This opening ceremony will blow people's minds, I have no doubt about it.

I saw a show from the same director in Yangshuo, China. That was amazing enough, and featured 'just' a few hundred locals.

This is going to have thousands and thousands of participants.

Without wishing to sound like crodonilson, expect the greatest show on earth.

Can't wait, even better that it's in glorious HD too. :)

all of the LOCOG, ODA and other Olympios have been told they can go down to a big park at Canary Wharf to watch it on the big screen, which leaves me to watch it on one of their massive screens they have indoors.

Now that opening was impressive.
It's going to make, 'Legz Akimbo's production of being stabbed in Sarf Landan, in 2012, look a bit sh*te.

To be honest I'm hoping London does tone it down a bit. I hate the way budgets spiral out of control and this pointless attempt to out-do the event four years previous.

At the end of the day, all I care about is that the Olympic sports are good to watch and ideally that China doesn't decide to revert to chopping off the heads of its own citizens for holding a particular point of view.
