They've given my club £223,000,000, 6 points, and finish below us.Even if you hate palace, you have to hate Chelsea more.
Disgusting club and everything that is wrong with modern football.
It hard to hate anyone I'm permanently laughing at.

No.I cannot hate anybody more than Palace. Give yourself a reality check.Even if you hate palace, you have to hate Chelsea more.

They also gave us Keith Dublin, Gary Chivers and Doug Rougvie...They've given my club £223,000,000, 6 points, and finish below us.

You’re forgetting Leon Knight! They also gave us Keith Dublin, Gary Chivers and Doug Rougvie...
My bigger issue is the lack of teeth FFP has. If Chelsea are cheating they should face relegation, banning from European competition etc. Instead they will get a fine that they can clearly afford.
For a laugh, we should have made an offer at that release clause figure.palace didn't have to sign him on terms unfavorable them.
They knew what they were doing and this is the end result.
I say that but a release clause of £70m would show they knew what they were doing.
£35m for a player you intend to be part of the focal point for an EPL team makes no sense at all.
It's almost as if they signed him assuming he'd be shite.
WTF have some of us become!Even if you hate palace,
For those of a certain age pompey were on a par for a timeNo.I cannot hate anybody more than Palace. Give yourself a reality check.

Great postIf you want a reality check, then read post #42 in this thread.
People are seriously comparing our childish (but fun) pantomime rivalry with palace to the financialized destruction of football, which in itself is just part of a process by which almost everything in society that matters is being destroyed by the toxic combination of greed and power?
We've had the financialised destruction of football since Jimmy Hill scrapped the maximum wage.If you want a reality check, then read post #42 in this thread.

Most of us don't, never have done, and never would do - our antiquated electoral system regularly gives them huge House of Commons majorities on 43-44% of votes castWe've had the financialised destruction of football since Jimmy Hill scrapped the maximum wage.
And if we want to stop our society destroying itself through greed and power, we should probably stop voting Conservative, at every bloody election.
Without wanting to derail the thread too far...I am pretty confident that the next government will not be a majority Tory one (in name at least). I am far less confident that what we get instead will do anything significant to challenge greed and power. Not in football nor anywhere else. We've had the financialised destruction of football since Jimmy Hill scrapped the maximum wage.
