I have heard through the grapevine that late 20 and 30 something Women LOVE middle aged blokes. I have seen no evidence of this myself or indeed cannot any personal sexual encounters to back up this hypotethis but I live in hope.

Therefore I am interested in Dave in Prague's ascetion that as a 50 something bloke things have never been better on that front and request he elaborate.

Its just different here I guess. My current girl and previous girl here are 25..
Theres definitely an advantage being a native English speaker. They all want to learn, as they can get better jobs. Helps to have a job..any job.. The economy here is low. An average cz wage is prob about 500 quid a month.
Thousands of women from Ukraine, Russia find that attractive and flock here.
Girls are different in central and eastern Europe.. you talk to gorgeous women here normally, without feeling your a troll. Which I am....but providing youre kind on top of this, they seem quite happy. Loads ive spoken to's previous experience of men in the former soviet republics often involve drunken, unemployed husbands, cheating, sometimes violent. They just want normal lives same as everybody else. You do get a ridiculous sense of perspective which I suspect will ruin me if I return to uk, but even beautiful girls fall into categories, and you end up ignoring, if not being downright rude to girls, who had it been when I was living in UK, would have crawled on my hands and knees to be with..
Just be kind I think. Women are women. Im just lucky with the location.

Actually serious point here.

We've all experinced the 'Generation Gap' and most of us experinced this as youngsters. Does anyone else share my concerns now, as an older guy (and no smutty comments please) that there's an 'awkwardness' about chatting to youngsters?

I'm sure this is all about the paranoia about pers etc but the only place I see young & old mixing is at football. It frustrates me when I hear kids on the bus and their limited knowledge of football or even when they talk about pop/rock stars more akin with our age but you just can't join in the conversation.

So how do you youngsters perceive us old gits?

1956 vintage-first game 1961/62 season.Still have a painting I did at school when I was 5 or 6 of Johnny Goodchild(with the thin blue and white striped shirts) taking a corner. Indocrinated with the stripes at an early age!!

Plus Steve Burtenshaw, Adrian Thorne and Mike Tiddy. Those were indeed the days at the wonderful old Goldstone Ground.
