I live just up the road from the Bevy. Went in there when it was 'oldy worldy' and recently since it has been done up.
That one-story building used to be a mens' barbers. I think the bloke who cut your hair was called Stan. I used to walk up there from Hanover Street where I lived, when I was barely old enough to walk, in the very early '60s to get my short back and sides and copious amounts of Brylcreeme.
