Wow, that Sky Deck. Never seen this before and so had no idea that something like this was planned all those years ago.
Did they really have the technology back then to build such a thing.
It looks similar but thinner than the Post Office Tower, built between 1961 and 1964 at 581 feet.
Stupid fact. The PO Tower was an official secret and didn't exist.

The old Bedford Hotel which stood from Victorian times until the 60s . This looks like a wedding party.

It’s modern somewhat angular replacement. Here shown as a Holiday Inn but has it been renamed again?
