Interesting to see the church dominating the skyline in the old photo which is now something many people probably don’t even notice is there.

Today it is hard to pinpoint exactly but it is along this run of shops
There's a big number 25 on the Currys sign in the old photo. So unless they've renumbered the street, which I guess is always possible, it's on the site of a fitness centre called New Fit Studio that occupied 24-25 York Place until it was put up for sale recentlyThis is York Place.
