Once tickets go on sale, how long before the first NSC thread appears that slags off Albion supporters for failing to take up our full allocation?

My prediction is ... ONE DAY.

That long ???

would you rather i hadn't gone to support the team then?

my point was, that just because someone has a season ticket, it does not necesarrily mean they spend more and put more effort into following the team.

Of course you should follow the team but your £100 expenditure was not financially beneficial to the club. There has to be a balance and it's a tough one for the club to get right. They always get it wrong in somebody's eyes-looks like this time it might be non-season ticket holders. For Cardiff, it was season ticket holders who don't live locally. For Grimsby it was season ticket holders generally because that particular allocation was simply a lottery.

The club will never win when it comes to a big(ish) game. Somebody will always miss out-it's unavoidable. I just get tired of people having a go at season ticket holders who think it would be nice for once to get priority.

Personally, I'll be wanting the Bracknell posse of six to be able to sit together. Three of us are current Withdean season ticket holders. The other three are former Withdean season ticket holders now living in North London.

Priority for the three of us who happen to be season ticket holders this year won't help at all (any more than it would have done for Cardiff). If season ticket holders DO get priority (and I hope they don't), then I guess the best bet would be to be slightly late with our application. That way we'll get our six seats together.

First come first served will be the best deal for THIS season ticket holder.

I am fed up of these 'I only go to away games' fans to then complain when it is suggested that they should get priority over season-ticket holders.

I have been a season ticket holder for several years now, and should expect priority to goto us, and then general members of the AMS.

Take it this way, all these fans who only goto away games give very little to the club, because all the money goes to the hosting team!

Spot on. They can pick and chose and its more of a day out visiting great stadiums than the Withdean Experience for 23 games a year. Each season ticket holder should get up to 2 tickets each, Lord B's problem solved. i am amazed that any season ticket holder does not believe they should get priority over someone who would only ever consider Spurs away and won;t be seen again until the next big game. Better person than I.

Does that mean you support the team more than me? dont fink so. I just don't live in Brighton anymore. I don't think I should get Priority over season ticket holders but I expect to be next after that.

It's not about anyone supporting the team more than others, it all about fairness in the greater scheme of things. Season ticket holders are the 'bedrock' of the support of the club.

Just out of reference, I don't live in Brighton or Sussex, and I have a 140mile round trip to the Withdean each time.

Gareth is as right to get hysterical about this as he was when he posted at mid-day on the first day that Play-Off Final Tickets went on sale - something along the lines of "Every ticket will be gone by four o'clock".

Or, to put it another way, Gareth is wrong to get hysterical.

I just hope that this time Martin Perry doesn't have to phone up an NSC moderator and ask for a "Calm Down Everybody" thread to be started.

It should be a free for all amongst all AMS members ,some season ticket holders never go to away games so they should not get priority just the same chance as everyone else.

Totally agree Lord B ,I remember Mr Glovers comments about play off tickets which just made the situation worse.
AMS free for all is the fairest option, plus I think we will probably get about 5000 tickets which will be more than enough anyway as long as you get in early.

So , what you saying is that the people who pay 400 - 500 pounds a year and sit in the freezing cold and sleet to watch 0-1 home defeats to Burnley should have no priority to the people whose experience of Albion games over the last 6 seasons are Cardiff Final and Spurs away.

What about people like moi Gareth, who have had season tickets at Withdean (every season in fact, except this one) but have done trips watching BHA FC (Hartlepool, Scunny, Hull, etc on a wednesday night  ) that many season ticket holders at Withdean wouldn't even contemplate. Does this make me more (or less) deserving than anyone else?

Of course it doesn't

If you can't get away tickets for WHL, go in home end, not rocket science

I can't beleive people are already moaning about tickets, the draw was only made 3 hours ago :nono:
