How about all the 6,060 people who turned up to watch the Rotherham game on Saturday first.
There must have been at least 500 unsold tickets for that game.
I do get tired of all these people who say they spend so much money traveling to away games because they cant get tickets for the home games.
There cant be many off them if we cant sell out every home game can there?

I honestly don't know why people are getting so worked up about this! There will be PLENTY of tickets for those of you that want to go. Even if we do sell out our allocation (which we will do but not overnight) The home fans are not going to turn up in huge numbers for this so you'll easily get in the home end!

CALM DOWN!
Exactamundo, the first thing I thought when the draw was made was that there would be endless reems of SHITE written on NSC about who should get tickets and who shouldnt.

Simple fact is that if you apply on the day of the announcement you will not be disapointed.

If we are live on TV, and they announce the price is over £30, then we may not even sell out:nono:

Does anyone know the answer to what happens to AMS applications that are sent in early? I'm out of the country next week and don't want to have to sit in the home end grabbing my seat to stop me standing up like West Ham. On a different subject, anyone know if the spare Millwall tickets are available on the door

???

As for the rest of the thread, not sure how many people there are in the AMS, but assuming Spurs give the usual 5-6K tickets and it's one per member as usual, most of us should get them right? Most people in the AMS are genuine fans, whether they can make/afford to go to every game, and the fairweathers are not in the AMS. End of discussion, no?

Just called the club. They reckon we're gonna get about 7,000 tickets, season ticket holders first, then away members, then blah blah blah. No price yet, but all should be known by end of week, then applications accepted.

Apologies if that's already been posted.

Cna i just make three points here:

1. why is it when there is a big game, there are always people on here ( whose usernames are not recognisable) who bitch about the ticketing of said games even before anything is announced?

2. what was all the crap in front of me on saturday by the "response stewards" who tried to chuck someone out, and the non white steward who wouldn't get out of the way when asked nicely as no-one coulnd f***ing SEE YOU ARROGANT person

3. um bongo molongo is by far and away the best username in the history of NSC ever:lolol: :lolol: :lolol: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

I will add my two pence to the argument!

Why don't we just do what happens at the moment for all away games and that it is first come first served for AMS members

Reason I say this is that all season ticket holders are members of the AMS scheme anyway, so if they want a ticket then apply for one. I am almost certain that all people who apply for a ticket will get one.

I have been a season ticket holder previously but this season didn't get one. This hasn't stopped me going to ANY games away from home that I wanted to go to or any home games. End of the day, if you apply early enough you get one. Doesn't matter if you live outside brighton or inside brighton. get it in early thats all that matters!!!

I have never not got a ticket that i have applied for so far in the ballot system.

I have moaned about the allocation of tickets before and I do think the club could look into the possibility of doing some kind of preference.

At the end of the day, the club don't care who they sell the tickets to. As long as there are 4500 people paying £30 odd quid for a ticket, why does it matter to the club who they go to??

I don't agree with the above attitude of the club, but if you think about it, why does it matter who gets the tickets in the clubs eyes as long as the sell them!!!

I'm sure there will be enough to go round, but if this is the case why-oh-why make this game season ticket holders first? When was this last the case.

Wasn't the original AMS idea that season ticket holders got a percentage of tickets and non-season ticket holders got the rest ?

When I phoned the shop I was told that no decision had been made, and that they still had no response from Spurs about prices or quantity of tickets. This was at 4pm.

My point being you get what you pay for. Everyone knows Withdean's awful, especially in the rain, but YOU HAVE A CHOICE!! Because you choose to go to these games (paying upfront, thus gaining a per-match discount) gives you no right to expect favours when you choose to follow the Albion away.

EVERY fan loves the club, and would go to ALL matches, home and away if they could. People have lives outside the Albion - work, families, etc and shouldn't be penalised for that by priority tickets going to those who CAN go to ALL home/away games.

Rant over. [/B]

What a load of tosh ....

Your right it is ALL ABOUT CHOICES! You may choose to have a bigger house, a nicer car, a smaller morgage, a bigger pension, spend more time with the wife etc... I choose to make these sacrafices for this club because I love it, it's my drug.

I would argue some people do love this club more than others and put their time & money in week in week out to prove this.

You can hide behind the fact that you think you would be penalised by schemes like this but the real reason is that some people may well be willing to make sacrifices your not in order to see this club.

Question is how do you measure this??? V.hard but previous threads have discussed how to award such people (the every game home & away mob) with priority and to me this is the only fair way as it shows those whom put the time in to go to all the matches.

My head hurts. I've decided that the only fair way is have a giant Tombola. Everyone stick your name on a piece of paper and stick it in a big rotating drum and get Mylene 'formerly of Hearsay' to pluck the lucky fellows out. It would take a while but it would be worth it to see her sweat.
