I have three Season tickets (me and two kids) and we all go to most aways, Wign, Crewe, Sunderland, being the furthest this year not to mention the easy near ones we have been too. So where does this leave us? What worries me is that on the football guide site it says there is usually no concessions for away fans. So at £40 each that's £120 for me. Are people gonna be so keen if this is the case. I spoke to DK about the WHU one and we do not have any priority scheme in place so me thinks this will be first come first served. But just after the Wolves, QPR games which we are going to and just after Xmas a lot of peoples budgets will be stretched. Still when we get a draw there at least I've got a ticket for the replay. :lolol:

Well I think priority should be given to season ticket holders who drive a blue car with a BHA plate and a Sussex by the Sea sticker in the rear window. Oh-that'll be me then....
How long you had that plate as saw one at chessington world of adventures a couple of year ago.:D

When we were having a debate about distributing away tickets a few weeks ago people were saying it was stupid as there are not many games where demand outstrips supply for tickets.

If the numbers coming out of the woodwork for this one so far are anything to go by, this game could be another one.

I am not a season ticket holder but have to disagree. Those that are put their money where their mouth is and buy tickets for all home games up front. I think this should give them some sort of advantage when it comes to away games that are going to be over subscribed.
We will get 9k allocation trust me it wont be over subsribed

i spent a hundred quid on my trip to sunderland (ticket, travel,m taxi home to lufbra from derby cos trains are shit etc.)

that is a quarter of a season ticket, right?

But how much does the Albion get out of that 100 quid? Best part of f*** all I'd imagine......

Like it or not-Season Ticket holders allow the club to function financially. Our UPFRONT 450 odd quid means that there is a club for non-season ticket holders to watch-home or away.

And how much of that went to the Albion? ???

I'm not knocking you, I just grow weary of these discussions.

Great minds, eh, Bwian?

This whole thread is a load of TOSH.

Any system of priority will only give the chosen category of fans ONE DAY at the head of the queue.

There will be more than 5,000 tickets available for the Spurs game. Whatever decision the Club takes - they will not sell anything like the full allocation on Day One.

Get your application in early and you will get a ticket, whether or not you are a season ticket holder.

Get your application in late and you may miss out.

If this was a sixth round game at Brisbane Road, there might be some point in getting worked up about priority categories. But it ain't.

How are tickets generally allocated for away games?

If the game is all ticket then AMS (Away Member Scheme) members and then on a first come first served basis.

Nah. How about...

Fans who started following the Albion in the '70s or before
Fans who started following the Albion in the '80s
Then all the "Johnny come latelies" as you put it

But the fact is you only pay for home games.

Yes the club needs your money. If I could buy an away season ticket I would.

Im sure we are all gonna get tickets cos we should get plenty.

I just get pissed off a the season ticket attitude that makes them better that the rest/

Well it dont, your the same, no better, no worse.

We all want the same thing, well I hope we do.

A bright future for our club.
