I’m more of a lurker than a poster but Knocky’s table inspired me to share what I’ve been running. All of your times a very impressive, so I’m not quite on some of your level, but I’ve only been running for the past year or so.

I ran a 10k personal best this evening of 50:47, I also ran a gruelling 11 mile coast path run a couple of weeks ago in 2:10:21. I’m getting into it now and enjoying myself. I’m hoping to do the Eden half marathon in Oct

Good work Levs. If you want any future race times in the table just post them on here.

Bloody Worthing!
Worthing Parkrun, 20.56/80.89% so an SB (please, Gaffer).

Had a ding dong battle with the legend that is Paul Gasson until (inevitably) he outkicked me in the final 100 metres. But we were both beaten by another old git. Had a chat with PG afterwards and mentioned another Arena 80 oldish git who has him in his sights.

There was a nasty little easterly today so I was pleased with that run - and the nearest I've ever got to Gasson, who of course, had no idea who the hell I am.

Yes, Paul looked a tad surprised when I told him that he'd been beaten although in fairness the guy was a 65 year old youngster whereas Paul is 68 or 69? He (Paul) came 2nd in the field on overall AG. I don't think he broke sweat TBH!

PS you'll be back..............

The Gasson must have been close to full effort with that time. Definitely in your sight. I did beat him once this year in the early season 5K at Ardingly. He shows his real speed at 1500m and 800m.

I will be back indeed. My rib was done sleeping in the camper of all things. Still very painful.

Good to see the table again, knocky1.

Could you put me in for 23.37 and 71.70% at Preston Park last week, please? Not impressive, but I've now got an incentive to get that age grading back up....

Got the last 20 miler out of the way on Sunday. Tough run with very hilly second half including up Tongdean Lane at mile 18 - I walked it!

Thanks for the table update knocky1. Not very interestingly, my SB is 21:42. My final parkrun on 20th March 2020 before it was suspended was also 21:42.

Well done. I've had time to edit the recent table for you.

My bruised rib is almost better now and so I'll be able to head off on holiday. Today is a 3K Arena race at Withdean and I'm tempted to give it a go. Not sure what will happen. 2 weeks rest will either spur me on or I'll die half way through.

Your table looks like a great motivator, knocky1. Can anyone join?

It's the boys table I'm just the data inputter  Of course you can join it. All you need is to give your running all time race pb's and your times for any races this year such as Parkrun.

I turned up for the Arena 3K tonight. Good evening. Could only run same pace as when I was at Worthing with you for the Parkrun. Just not good enough and failed to make an impression. Nearly caught Caroline Wood on the run in but failed by 2 seconds. Good session.
The Machine enjoyed chatting with you on Saturday and was 30 seconds ahead of me today. Says his run at Worthing was slow when we were talking about you and when I said I'd beaten him at Ardingly this Spring for the only time ever he said he'd had a howler that day. I admire his competitive spirit but I think one or both of us will get him next year. Howlers my ass.
