That Long Man American Pale Ale is heady stuff. Will have to add a few minutes to my Parkrun this morning........

You probably know Mississauga better than me. I've only ever been to the airport there!

Once the marathon is out of the way I'll be all over this 5k competition. Gunning for a podium too [emoji106]
Good luck for the marathon. Having had a swim this morning, it's off to Worthing for parkrun. Albion shirt on - running in then us only reserved for special occasions...

Headache went at 2.5 miles and managed a good 5:25 pace run in for the last 200 metres. Still got overtaken by a 9 year old in a Gareth Bale shirt.

Preston Park today, SB 22:05, gives me 73.89% AG. Hope to get to 75% sometime this season, as the marathon training has definitely given me a lot more strength

Avoid Worthing: my sub 22 was only good enough for 4th in the VM60-64! There's some very quick old gits around. I might have to accelerate my progress to 65!

(In fairness I reckon your time at P Park was worth well under 22 at Worthing.)

They're all over the place! I was 4th today too (in VM60-64) at P Park, and I'm usually first or second even with a slower time.

Will you be able to do the Weakest link relay this mid June? Wednesday 6.30pm. I'm thinking of an old codgers team. Me, yourself, GNT and the next oldest ****** on here.

Sorry to let the team down but on 20th June I'm away working. Same happened last year. (In case you wondered, this year I'm attending an exam board in deepest South Devon.) Will be there in spirit, not that that's of any bloody use!

Missed Park Run this morning but managed a nice 5 mile easy paced run in and around Hove seafront.

Rest day tomorrow as entered the Burgess Hill 10k earlier this week which starts at 10:30 Monday morning. I've never run this event before so looking forward to a new race and good prep for Worthing in 4 weeks.

I'm hoping to have a dart at Park Run this coming Saturday on the Prom if the wind isn't too strong.

Worthing was pleasant today. A few miles before it, then took it easyish on the actual parkrun and topped up afterwards to make seven miles in total.

Just the 30 miles of hills on the bike tomorrow awaits...

Yes sure, in principle I'd be up for it, if you can't find a couple of faster codgers.... I'm clearly the weakest of you and GNT....
[edit: just seen that GNT is out anyway...]

After 2 months of breaking into a sweat and fainting every time I saw a hill, I have finally felt up to running up one again. Nice jog return to the Dyke and looks like I just missed meeting Guinness Boy. Great minds think alike.
Good luck to Simgull and any others on the Three Forts half. Hot but a cooling breeze.

Indeed, absolutely lovely up there today. All about enjoying the morning. No care about time to the extent I stopped to take photos and play with another runner's dog for a while.
