Yasso! Guinness Boy Game on.
Only a yasso if you do 10 of them........[emoji106][emoji16]
To be fair I was supposed to do ten of them. I ran out of road and time. I also can’t count when I’m running.

Skipping Hove Park 600 tomorrow despite wanting to say well done to a man celebrating his 90th Birthday doing the run. Apparently his PB is 14 something achieved 65 years ago. Make sure you give him a cheer Hove.
I’m heading to the Prom for a gentle 25” and will try to join the sea dippers afterwards
Using the runners world race predictor on last weeks 1:43 Half marathon is interesting. A 4:08:00 marathon.
On a positive note I know I added 2-3 minutes by overdoing it and being knackered at 6 miles on a hilly non SB course. That brings me into a very close sub 4.
On a negative thought, which we won't allow, the predictor does not take into account a body built for speed (?) rather than endurance. This takes me just over 4:00:00
Tomorrow's slow jaunt with some MP thrown in will give me a good idea.
McMillan calculator turns my 1.49 at Brighton (which I think I could beat if I went tomorrow) in to a 3.49 at 8.45 miiles. That's exactly the pace I'm going to try and stick to (I don't mind giving away my strategy because trying and actually doing it are very different things ) as recommended by coach.
Did the 8.5 mile taper this morning and hit 8.45s pretty much bang on for 6 miles.
I am on there as an "endurance monster" though. I'm not really sure how each of these calculators work but I'm fairly sure Jan is using McMillan as the 1.49 was "spot on target". I know Dazzer has recommended it as a guide as well.
Based on that you're going to kick my ar$e just so long as you don't set off at 6.45s uphill
More importantly, I saw Bruno cycling along the seafront bike lane on my way home. What a start to the weekend!
Entering a few races is the best way to keep motivated. Good luck.have posted on this thread a little but not regularly
am looking to step up my running through the summer
in March i have now managed 13 runs and 63 km s,
the last three this week over 5km : today it was 33 mins 49 secs for 5.45k according to my fitbit :
on thursday i ran 6.8km which is the most so far : it is quite hilly here!
in April i am flying in for weekends at Wembley and Wolves
so the running may suffer
but i am looking to add to this slightly every month
in the past it hasnt taken much to dampen my enthusiasm :
so i thought commuicating my goals might help
but i am not sure exactly what they should be yet
a couple of 10kms in the autumn and maybe the Brighton half Marathon next year ??

Took it easy again and paced 28 with Aw20 tomorrow in mind. After hitting 28 dead last week, let myself down with 28:04 this week, must try harder.
Fantastic run by ben Elton’s brother. Also great to see Hugh Foord run on his 90th Birthday - now that is an inspiration.
