Under 22mins for the first time in over 12 months this morning. Either the training is paying off or it’s the incentive of getting a decent time on the NSC leaderboard.
Especially pleased with a 4:05 final km - didn’t want knocky1 getting too far in front.

15 miles on the SDW this morning, bloody hell it's muddy up there. Never seen it as bad...................good luck Greg Bobkin on the riverbank tomorrow !

Hard to get going this morning but picked up in the second and third mile. Decided against sitting on Simgulls heels and gave him something to chase.
Found a lot of 2018 SBs from the Parkrun site. Anyone need times updating or edited let me know. Hotting up with many around 20 preparing to chase big nuts sitting pretty at the top but the Age Grade percentage is the true sign of class!

I've only done a couple of Parkruns this year (and neither is anything to get excited about!) ... been concentrating on getting some distance in my legs in prep for Worthing HM - managed 10 miles today which is my longest run in a long time.
But for the record here's my best time for this year ... so far (I'm sure I'll improve):

23:04 AG: 63.95%

First Park Run of the year and first since November so pleased to post an 18:45 at Hove Prom in decent conditions.

First run out of the Hoka Hupana's. Kurt from Run (Blatchington Road) says these are the lightest Hoka racing shoes. Certainly felt good today and hopefully with a few more Park Run's I can start hitting some PB's, I've really neglected speed work over long runs recently so good to up the pace again.

Also finished second which is my highest placed finish, so all in all a good days work.

18:45, that’s bloody brilliant.

(What I’m really thinking:  )

Decided to combine an early evening run with a trip to the bank and the bio store. Felt a bit weird running around the city with a big pack of spaghetti in my hand.

Just did 16 from home. There is water at the YHA. The hills killed me and I only did half of your total but I managed to run them all. Lucky I haven't got foot and mouth.

I've just seen what you called it on Strava you naughty man :lolol:

First 10K in a very long time for me run as an LSR. With the wind behind me it felt pretty easy, not so much coming back in to the "breeze". Stopped for a chat with Simgull . Obviously didn't add the time on.

Excellent. Either your foot has swollen or that can of Dark Star just isn't big enough after 28+ miles.

Well done Greg Bobkin.

14.7 miles for me, sea front to Rock Gardens, up to Queens Park, upto the racecourse , down to Ovingdean and back on seafront.

All well and polished off with excellent Sunday lunch at the Connaught.
