NSC Parkrun around Bevendean? That would sort the men from the boys. Plus we'd make up half the field.

I'm going to sound like a right 'super ego' the only Park Run in October I can do is the 21/10 and I'd need to ideally run Preston Park. At a push Hove Prom or Park but would have to leave immediately.

No Wetherspoon's afterwards? Be good if Ninja Elephant takes on the challenge but may not fit into his training plan. Come on we want the race off.

Guinness Boy will come for the fry upGreat plan. Great decision. Run and breakfast on the 21st October. Unfortunately it's best to be beaten by dazzer6666 on the flat rather than giving him an incline to relish.
Sorry if I hijacked that a little. knocky1 asked for a speedy race and I suggested the slowest possible course so feel free to ignore me!
But if there is another NSC Parkrun I'm in (not that there are many of you I could actually race). Pretty much all dates and locations are fine by me.
Bevendean on the 21st October, followed by the fry up, it is!
It's race time.

I've not been on this thread for a while as I have been moving house. I've moved to Hull, which is not that great when it comes to running as it's pancake flat and they're no hills for miles for me to do hill reps on.
Anyway I ran the GNR yesterday in a new PB 1:34:35.
I feel I definitely could have run quicker as I had to stop twice at 4 and 8 miles due to having something in my shoe/sock, which was irritating my right foot.
Schoolboy error, I know but it really made it difficult to get back to pace again, after a couple of miles my pace settled again though.
Even though I got a new PB I'm a bit disappointed as I think I could have done a bit better. I think I'm going to look for another HM around October to see if I can better my time again.
