I did the Reigate 10k yesterday off the back of very little training, wore the heart rate monitor for no particular reason, just fancied having a look after. Started quite quickly trying to get past a few people and into some space and kept on at a relatively high pace (for me) waiting for the inevitable crash. It never really came, but my heart rate reading didn't make for very pretty reading - what am I meant to make of being in the 'peak' zone for the whole thing?
