We can find better.

Where exactly? ???

He was superb, he WAS our midfield. In fact, he was the most assured and competent midfielder I have seen at Withdean for a number of years.

We will miss him and he will be extremely difficult to replace. I think he will do well wherever he ends up.

Oh I totally agree, but he's also a shit stirring arrogant arsehole and for that reason he can piss off to wherever the f*** he likes.

I think he merely reflects the young footballer of today. Lots of money before proving anything coupled with a bad attitude many "youth of today" have whether they work for Man Utd or Tescos. Just goes to show what a difficult job managers have in the modern game. No wonder someone of DK's age fell out with him; different generation where you had respect for your elders and had to earn a living. Not sure what the solution is because the kids all 'know their rights' and not the responsibility of showing a bit of professionalism and NOT shooting your big gobby mouth off O'Callaghan. Good riddance the "Irish Zidane@...:laugh::laugh::jester::tosser:

He played when he wanted to, like most loan signings.

A huge generalisation. There are a lot of young footballers and youth of today who have good attitudes. Paul McShane and our own Dean Hammond for example.
I like the 'youth of today' who work in Tescos and other places. They know their own minds and don't have to just do as they're told like I had to when I was younger.

But what is the common denominator...yes 1 Mr Knight who seems to be pulling more strings every season

That's an absolute load of bollocks. "Mr Knight" has responded to O'Callaghan shit stirring and Savage rejecting a contract and said he does not want them playing. Would you? This whole interferring chairman stuff is childish idiotic nonsense. O'Callaghan and Savage effectively deselected themselves.

There's only 1-person cracking the whip and its not Dean Wilkins

That's a very noble viewpoint but I get the impression from watching him that he is pretty mouthy and petulant with a fairly high opinion of himself. Perhaps our unwillingness to break the bank for him left him a little frustrated,

One thing you have to remember us that half the squad have come through the youth set up and many others (Kuipers, Hart, Reid, Butters et al) have been with the club for many years. They are all acutely aware of the financial constraints that the club operates under. They don't need someone who has been here for five minutes to point it out.

I cannot accept that George O'Callaghan had the best interests of Brighton and Hove Albion at heart. Has he ever stated a love for the club or a desire to stay? At best, it's misguided. In management speak it's internal terrorism. Good riddance to the new Leon Knight.

Well said that man.

I'm not saying he has. For all I know, he may never have had any intention of staying beyond now. But the chairman telling the local paper just what he thought of his last performance probably didn't persuade him to sign for us.

In response to an irresponsible, unprofessional and needless interview which basically showed he had no intention of staying at the club anyway.

Whilst we stumble towards the bottom with a midfield which is now worst than last seasons....yeah he can piss off alright :nono:

For FUXSAKE o'callaghan is JUST ANOTHER AVERAGE (or below) PLAYER!

JUST like BERTIN, we are NOT DEPENDANT ON ANY PLAYER FOR THE ALBION TO MOVE ON IN THE SPORT.

For Jesus H Christ's sake, after years are barely making it, goal diff v Hereford, seasons at Gillingham, relegations and promotions - and some of you CRY AND WAIL LIKE OLD WIMMIN because ONE .....POXY and journeyman player has sulked off - AND HE WASN'T EVEN ON OUR BOOKS.

get f***ing REAL.

When Roy Keane overstepped the mark at Man United the greatest player in Premiership history was shown the door. There is a line. O'Callaghan crossed it.
