Dean Smith has a few more games yet but certainly under pressure now. Living and working in Birmingham it's a 50/50 split amongst villa fans at present wanting him out. A few games time without a win and he'll be gone!

20th November could be the trigger if they lose to Southampton and then us

It's not Nuno Espírito Santo fault, he's walked into Levys mess, tried to sort out, the Kane situation hasn't helped him.
I doubt very much GP would want to get involved in their shit show.

Agree its not his fault but dont agree with those that say they feel sorry for him. He knew what he was getting into and suspect he was chancing his arm prior to that with the Palace/Everton situation. He wont come out of this any poorer

Of course your 100% correct, but on the flip side Levy knew what he was getting in hiring Nuno.
You can also feel that Spurs might lose they're identity, all rolled up in a good ol' U S of A shit pile.

I’m not sure Levy had much choice re hiring Nuno. This whole debacle is a result of his poor decision to bin off Poch

Let's face it, the organ grinders at Spurs keep well out of sight while their monkey takes all the flak. And well rewarded for being their monkey he is too.

Spurs are still in a mess created by sacking Pochettino. It was so clear the problem at the end of his time was mostly due to lazy players and he himself said the squad needed a revamp. But I guess its always easier to blame the manager and sack him rather than do whats actually needed with the players. They should have sold Kane in the summer to fund an overhaul.

If true, that's insane. Sacking CH was down to style and survival/progress, with no prospect of improvement in either. Wolves had ended 7th, 7th and 13th - hardly a reason for alarm bells to start ringing surely? Oh well.

I had him down as a Lawrie Sanchez type, leaving a good thing and it not working out at all; I am still happy to smile at his demise for that reason alone.

they sold Jota and Jiminez was injured for most of the season so it's quit understandable why they were lower.

Really pleased that ABP (anyone but Potter) is looking likely to get the Spuds gig. Whilst Conte seems a big upgrade on Nuno, he might not last the season if he doesn’t turn around the form. The more basketcase Spuds are, the better.

If Spurs hire Conte then he won't come cheap and neither will his demands for a transfer kitty. I wonder whether Levy have decided to cut his losses and sell Kane in the January window.

Citeh look like they need a replacement striker for Aguero, and with 10 points dropped, 5 points behind Chelsea and out of the League Cup I wouldn't be surprised if the Kane deal was back on.

This is a classic example of how different modern football is. 20 or 30 years ago, if the squad needs revamping the manager did it. Now they just change the manager. Changing the manager can get you some short term success, which is what football fans demand these days, even if it's at the expense of long-term success.

Spurs should have had the balls to tell Pochettino to completely revamp the squad and put in place a long-term plan, understanding it might mean a year or two of ropey results in the meantime. But fans don't accept that- less than a year ago a large proportion of Brighton fans were saying Potter should get sacked, despite it being blindingly obvious that we had a long term strategy that we were only in the early stages of.

What? Southampton sold two big players and net spend same as ours this summer.

We have spent far more than Southampton and they have higher league finishes.

Let’s cut out ill informed guessing to suit an argument, by introducing irrefutable facts based on the clubs.

Squad costs before the last 3 windows of spending and sales:

So their squad cost £60m more, and they spent £114m a year in wages contrasted to £103m for us.

Hey presto, higher league finishes.

El Presidente spent the last 4 years repeatedly pointing out that we had a bottom 3, then bottom 6 budget.

Where do you get your information from that we’ve spent more on players than Southampton?

All well and good if the manager wants to stay at the club.

Levy suffers from " I prefer a foreign manager syndrome " - No doubt because all the other big clubs do and so it makes him feels like Spurs belong to that group. For that reason I think Potter might be overlooked by them.

Potter has taken us backwards this season so Spurs are doing the right thing in not trying to poach him.

Last season Man City Home and Liverpool Away was 6 points

This season Man City Home and Liverpool Away 1 point

#PotterOut (unless he wants to stay in which case PotterIn)

Why do clubs listen to the fans on things like this. You like to think if the club are honest and set out a strategy like that that the fans will get on board with it. I think that is the case with the Albion. There are some of course - but they are definitely not the ones that should be listened to.

Paratici finally seems to have done something right. If Levy shuts his mouth, opens his cheque book and allows Paratici and Conte to get on with the job then Spurs might have a chance of arresting their slide.

SpursWeb is reporting Conte has handed Levy a shopping list of Brozovic and de Vrij of his old club Inter, then Juventus pair Chiesa, de Ligt and AC Milan defender Romagnoli. That would be bad news for the likes of Dier, Sanchez and Rodon.
