oh, and i also hated cambridge when i was there this weekend

i was only using it as a transit though, and trying to navigate myself from the coach station to the train station without any sign posts........but i generally thought it was full of dicks

Memphis. Horrible place, and out of all the places I been in the states is the only one where I haven't felt safe walking around.

The Deep Blue Sea
Lootown, Croydon and Portsmouth.

Would rather dress as a 65 year old spinster, dance around a pit o' killer ants covering in excrement, watchin' Big Brother repeats from four years ago while being dismembered by spooky 2 foot transvestite dwarf sadists than live in those dives.

Bath, Somerset.
"the residents of Bedford were prone to referring to themselves as being from north London".

I was at a Chester v Perterborough game many years ago (as part of my tour of the 92 league grounds), and when a Peterborough player fouled a home player, a Chester fan shouted out 'You dirty cockney c***'.

I'm not quite sure that Peterborough is within range of the Bow bells!

I really wanted to like Turin, but 'Italian Job' locations apart, I did find it hard work to do so.
Brussels outside of the Grand Place vicinity
Calais - depressing
Rheims - the Champagne business aside, it really needs a lick of paint that town

I know its not strictly a 'big' town, but GRANTHAM is the biggest heap of steaming shit that ive ever had the misfortune of visiting!

Oh and im not the biggest fan of BIRMINGHAM either! Some bits are ok, like the Bullring since its been re-done, but there are LOTS of shitty, shabby bits that need knocking down and re-doing!

Oh and DERBY, simply because i got VERY lost driving 'round' it the other day!

The free state of Kemp Town
Reading.

I've never felt so intimidated, frightened or generally desperate to escape than in Reading.

Of course I'm not talking about the Madejski, which like the rest of the town is just soulless, because at least they have a police presence there.

Truly vile place and I pity the innocents sent to uni there who either come out petty criminals, or in body bags

Luton - biggest toilet in the country. No redeeming features whatsoever.
Various ports in Kent - they're all the same. Grey, dog shit everywhere, racial tension, seriously dull.
Blackpool - dire northern shithole in need of a lick of paint to remove the third world feel. Not much you can do about the multitude of roaming chavs however. And that crap tower is overpriced too.
Portsmouth - violent, depressing, sailorboy town again with terrible traffic problems. None of the vibrancy of Brighton. Only partially rescued by the spinaker tower and a couple of old boats.
