What worries me about Farage is those who are hoodwinked by his brand of Donald Trump politics. Thought the UK would be smarter than to appear to allow that style of politics, but I guess it takes all types. Just scary to think that people think its acceptable. You're quite right my vote will not have any effect, but it's my disappointment in labours manifesto not being radical enough, as our campaign is all about change, it doesn't read as change, and as Nick Robinson said it is a very different to their 2019 manifesto, which I happened to have liked. If labour don't really mean change I may not vote because it's all about fully backing someone ideas going forward, I hope he is just saying it to win and then reverts to the 2019 manifesto, but then that makes him a liar just like the Tories and that would make me feel uncomfortable with him being in charge.

The 2019 manifesto saw Labour soundly beaten, which shows that they are listening to the electorate not just a vocal faction within the party - a good sign. The biggest change that will come about from Starmer being PM rather than Sunak, Truss or Johnson, is that the adults will be back in the room and we can look forward to having a government that won't be an embarassment.

After the last couple of days of 'Reform overtakes Conservatives' headlines, I saw today that in a single poll Reform were 1 point ahead. On the average of all the polls they are still 8 points behind the Conservatives.

Probably because it's not quite the case. Yes - they are behind in most polls, but not 8 points. Last eight = average of 3.25 behind

I 100% don’t like him and think it is ridiculous that we are even contemplating a time when he may be an mp and leader of the opposition- I find it horrible.

I also think that quotes from when he was a child is unfair, people shouldn’t be judged on what they did in school 50 years ago.

Well I'm voting for Sian Berry. You could vote Green. There are certain overlaps with the Labour 2019 manifesto. The more Green voters, the more pressure on Labour to go down that route than the nostalgia, racism and unpleasantness of Farridge.

As Reform is a business and not a political party, they can accept donations and not have to account for what happens to that money.

My prediction is that Reform will make a pretty penny over the campaign period and then f*** off back to obscurity.

Farage isn’t even bothering to run on any policies this time. He’s muttering something about destroying the Tory’s and not much else.
