No, she shouldn’t.

And the police would be very reluctant to criminalise someone for a moment of stupidity.

If it wasn’t a high profile figure that had been assaulted, she wouldn’t have been arrested. Unless she kicked off with the police. Which is a different matter.
Yes she did - she also assaulted an emergency service worker according to reports.

Nope. That was allegedly a second person. A male.

I’m glad you’re not a copper.

Additionally, Farage made light of the incident later. He posed for journalists with a tray of milkshakes. Something that will be taken into account when charges are considered.

Farage is just a wrecker.

Oh come on now, you could only call him a wrecker if he had been banging on about immigration for 10 years without ever offering a solution or immigration level he shows to be appropriate.

Oh!!

Yes, from the BBC website

Essex Police said a 25-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assault.

While making the arrest, the force said a man was also detained on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.

I’ve no idea what you’re talking about or why you would have any awareness of what I thought about these events — had I known they were happening.

If it isn’t clear, let me spell it out. All acts of political violence, whether it involves a ‘little milkshake’ or something more lethal, are the acts of fascists and total losers, and if you can’t see where this leads, you’re an idiot. I’ve said enough on this.
From what I can see, this all leads from eggs to milkshakes.

Clearly I am an idiot, but can you please spell out where you are suggesting this leads?

Thick shakes, smoothies, soup?

Not the person you’re replying to, but the murders of Jo Cox and Sir David Amess?

I don’t want this shit getting normalised in a democracy.

Jeez, Tice is on the follow-up programme, and the drivel he's coming up on the climate crisis is quite something if unsurprising, but here it is, being played out on a mainstream channel.

Milkshake thrower deserves prison time for assault.

If this happened to Mayor Khan they would get years.

People joke now but two MPs have been killed in recent years. If this happened to a female Labour MP there would be outrage.

No excuse for violence. Beat people with debate and rational argument.
If you read the thread, and Twitter you will see there is outrage.

No one is really conding this act... But let's face it, if it has to happen to someone then Farage is your man.

Yes you are probably right in that's what he was referring to. Not sure I really see murder as a part of the chucking food stuff continuum but perhaps that is a different discussion.

I take your point though and agree that this shouldn't be part of a democratic process, might be too late to stop it being normalised.

Absolute nonsense and fake news.

The person who did it is a ‘model’ who did it for attention.

yeah, as I thought, it was staged. Not staged by Farage, but staged nevertheless. Wasn't a political protest

She is obviously doing it for her channel and the cash she’ll now earn. The Sun have obliged by giving her the sort of publicity she could only dream about!

This makes Farage public target No.1 for Onlyfans/tiktok models wanting attention and hits. I wonder what plans Chelsea’s most famous fan Astrid Wett has for him?

It’s not normalised in society. Hence the uproar.

And to start bringing Jo Cox and David Amess into this conversation is ridiculous.

Two completely different acts with very different motivations and outcomes.

Throwing a milk shake over someone is not a gateway to murdering someone.

Seriously. Get a grip.

Indeed, a REAL man of the people, FOR the people.
Looks like the minder leading Farage off after the milkshaking is George Cotterll, an aristocrat whose dad went to Gordonstoun with Prince Andrew.

Lovely people. And very working class,
