no the recommendation was for one game in the uk for three years. this is game two, murrayfield and millennium stadium were also on the list. but it was only a recommendation not a commitment, unfortunately.

I thought it was ridiculous after the relative success of the last game, and the reasoning behind it taking place, that Cardiff or Murrayfield were ever touted.

With 64 ish and 75 ish thousand capacitys at the other grounds, Wembley generates more money in ticket sales, I am sure all money generated at all NFL games is split and shared among all the franchises, something the FA could look into over here.
I'm not sure it is - I think most of the money probably goes to the team that's the 'home' side, to make up for lost revenue by losing a home game.

Pretty sure Murrayfield isn't anything like 64,000 is it? I think its beyond capacity (although the higher the better) but the market for the NFL in London must be much higher (admittedly the Claymores tradition is there in Edinburgh) than the others, and is more marketable in the US.

Very jealous - was hoping to get out to see a game this year but the fixtures didn't work out for me. Hoping next year's AFC South away fixture is the Jags as my mate lives there so makes it a cheaper trip!

Doesn't make it that cheap mate. A weekend's bed and board in Fruit Cove is going up dramatically!! Bring me some 1664 blanc in a few weeks and we can discuss rates for next year. Jags back to form yesterday and the season starts here. Gators 3 and 0 and on their way to another National Championship as well. Ole Miss are the next lambs to the slaughter.

mizzou tigers. my brother went to the university and we've stuck with them ever since. 4-0 for us and looking good. my son has their jersey and when he wore it a couple of weeks ago and someone stopped us in the high street commenting on it and they were a gator fan as well. you don't get too many here who have a college team much less know what is going on!

Meltdown for the Jets last night at San Diego - gubbed 48-29 - very humiliating when it's live on primetime TV with Brett Le Favre looking more like 49 than 39. The Jets fans must be wondering about Mangini's game plan and if Le Favre should have stayed in retirement.

Dallas will in a playoff game this year, but they won't win the lot. Could be a surprise like last year. Had a flutter on the Eagles pre-season at 20-1.
I doubt they can do it, but I'm having more faith as the weeks go by, they look like a solid oufit. (As long as Westbrook gets healthy)
Will be out in Philly for the Cowboys re-match over Christmas. That game will be MASSIVE. Can't f***ing wait.

Marvellous scenes - Favre not knowing the offense really showed. Very impressed by Philip Rivers though, especially after the early interception. Lots of positives for my Chargers in fact, LT getting his first two touchdowns and the defense actually looking quite capable was nice. The kick team need to sort it out though, got ripped for far too many big returns.

I thought if the early onside kick had worked it may have been a different game, however they gave SD an easy score and never caught up. Its odd why Favre moved because GB look good this year, lots of positives for NYJ buts lots of new players and a desperate need to gel quickly.
Rivers and LT looked great but liked watching Darren Sproles, never noticed him before must be one of he shortest ever nfl players but explosive, him and LT make some force. I am just as excited about seeing the Chargers next month at Wembley as I am abut seeing Elphick mark Jo in tonights big game.
The Packers had already said Aaron Rodgers was going to be their starter though, so when he decided to return he basically had to find a new team. Bit of an odd decision for any team to take him on though I'd have thought, what with him having played the same offense for 16 years and suddenly having to learn a new one at 39.

Eggman - Just back from the Skins game. Sorry to report that we are shit (AGAIN) this year. One week we look like champs and the next chumps. R'Skins and Giants look like they are only contenders for NFC East. Let me know if this is your first time in Philly. I'll be glad to give you a few pointers on what and what not to do............

Me and a mate off to the good 'ole U S of A next friday for our annual double header..
Sunday at Indianapolis to see the Colts beat the Ravens then driving to Cleveland for the Monday night game which should see the Browns lose to the Giants.
Done some great stadiums over the last 5 or so years with the Philly, Detroit and Tampa grounds coming out as the best. Am looking forward to the new, historic Indy 'Lucas oil field' !
Funny though, imo the Emerates staduim the top stadium ive visited.
