a defeat for us this weekend, 1-1 now. looks like hester is out for this weekends games with the buccs. i don't expect us to amount to much this season, but be nice not to be too awful which is exactly what i can see happening. first home game this weekend, really need to see orton step up to the plate, he could learn a lot from griese. i am still not convinced he is any good but am ready to be proven wrong.

what about the bafl? we finished 6-4. had a four game losing streak mid season which pretty much ruined it for us, when we played well we were great but too many wishy washy not quite good enough performances. the league winners were 9-1 so we were a long way off the pace. still, get a few in for the offence next season and we might just have enough to get into the play offs.

I know what you mean but with such high stakes though, most coaches would go for the safe option of the extra point that is, in effect, a tap in rather than risk a defeat on a play that can easily go wrong

But that's what I mean, with such high stakes surely the fact you have a shot a winning the game is it's worth going for? Kick the one point then lose the coin toss in O/T and you may well not touch the ball again, at least if you go for the 2pt you're guaranteed a shot at winning the game!

I certainly know i'd be taking the chance

Patriots 19 Jets 10. Like I said - the Patriots will do OK without Brady.

complete shambles last night though. they looked like a bunch of naive freshman against superbowl champions.

that gamepass is excellent value if any of you are thinking about getting it. well recommended.

we lost in ot last night. have had a better start to this season than i was expecting so can't gripe too loudly.

From what I have seen, Dallas gave up a lot of points at home. I thought Rodgers the Packers QB is looking good. Giants looked good when I saw them.

Early days yet but New England will struggle so should leave it a bit more open this year. The team I fancy this year (chargers) on tonight on channel 5 with the great runing back (soon to be in London) LaDainian Tomlinson,

01:20 to 04:50 Monday September 22 NY Jets @ San Diego set the recorder.

I was impressed with Green Bays quarterback, he could have been sacked about 15 times last night but managed to keep on his feet and get in a pass. Dallas look good overall and if Tony Romo starts to come good then they will be the team to beat - which is good coz they are my team!!

Brilliant win for the Dolphins as well.

Romo and TO have connected for more passes than any pairing currently playing (this season and last) so if they can get the DEFENSE going they have a good shot. Perhaps we will get Dallas to Wembley for the 2009 game.

If you want entertainment then follow my Broncos - three games in we've scored 114 points and let the opposition have 84 just to keep things interesting. At the 0-3 Chiefs next week so should be interesting.

I know it's still early but I do think Dallas will finally win a playoff game.
The team is stacked all over the field, probably have the best running back tandem with MBIII and Felix Jones, add that to the likes of Romo, TO and Witten and a defence with Ware, T-New, Pacman and every thing is in place for a very good season.

I am of to Dallas in a week to see the Boys play the Bengals at Texas Stadium hoping for a Cowboys win

yep only reason they are back this year is because of goodell.

If he wanted to come back this year, then why not next year? Not necessarily doubting your source, but they've said its an open possibility of remaining at Wembley and I can't see why the won't. As much as I'd like to argue otherwise, its not about rewarding loyal fans but about trying to gain new ones, which is why the UK makes more sense than Germany, surely?

i completely agree with you. i hope it becomes an every season, regular thing here and while goodell wants that , i think some of the others do not want it to be tied to one city/country.
