As a Labour member I’m actually very pleased you’re not.
Corbyn is in ‘power’ still because the democratic process of the party, says he should be.
There’s an election, for the leader. Once that Is decided, then he will step down.

What do you think should happen?

Deputy leader take over.

oh...

As noted above.....

Michael Foot's manifesto was described as the longest suicide note in history. It is heartwarming that Corbyn's labour have found fit to channel that moment.

Hopefully Starmer will sweep away all this stupidity when he takes over. He'll have to do it carefully, or the thicky militant lefties might notice what he's up to. Fingers crossed.

I agree with you on this.

This.

Whilst I’d love to see a Woman or someone with protected characteristics take over at Labour, Starmer is the only candidate who can pretty much guarantee crushing Johnson at the next election. Get him in.

I think she has a point, simple phrases for simple people.

And that My far superior friend is the elitist attitude that saw the red wall collapse. Enjoy the wilderness years in your echo chamber...

Sorry you feel offended by it but HT is absolutely right. The morons voted for an incompetent lying toad who literally hides from scrutiny and has no interest in the common working man. Accountability was meaningless to these cretins because, er, BREXIT, but say "Get Brexit done" often enough and power was assured.

Well they got what they wanted: a clown who didn't bother with managing middle England's floods and won't bothering with their job security if it gets in the way of a Brexit deal even if it is a horrific one.

But I say f*ck 'em. They voted for this mess, they are complete simpletons for doing so, and I really don't care if you think it makes me elitist.

With that amount of bile not so much elitist, more gammon like. Gonna be a long 10 years with that much anger.

So what are Boris and Dominic doing if it is not precisely that?

Trevor Phillips has now been suspended by the Labour Party, genuine socialists must be worried that official party of opposition has now become a cult.

Because it's not possible to stand as deputy and as leader. Jess Philips was nominated as deputy leader in this election but declined the nomination as she went for the position of leader

Interestingly, those who joined the party after the election and many of those that were members before Corbyn became leader have not yet received their ballot papers. Not many corbynistas in that lot. RL-B is still in there fighting
