Sorry you feel offended by it but HT is absolutely right. The morons voted for an incompetent lying toad who literally hides from scrutiny and has no interest in the common working man. Accountability was meaningless to these cretins because, er, BREXIT, but say "Get Brexit done" often enough and power was assured.

Well they got what they wanted: a clown who didn't bother with managing middle England's floods and won't bothering with their job security if it gets in the way of a Brexit deal even if it is a horrific one.

But I say f*ck 'em. They voted for this mess, they are complete simpletons for doing so, and I really don't care if you think it makes me elitist.
How were they supposed to have managed floods

Because it's not possible to stand as deputy and as leader. Jess Philips was nominated as deputy leader in this election but declined the nomination as she went for the position of leader

Thank you Now understand system. However to get the the 2 best people for 2 top jobs would it not make more sense to have leadership election and then have election for deputy.

Did you just put a Hitler tash on Long-Bailey? Jeez, you're right, you're not a Tory, you're something far worse. Odious thing to do.

That used to be the case - Roy Hattersley stood as leader and deputy in 1983 (and became deputy to Kinnock). I'm not sure when it was changed ... or why

Is that supposed to be an equivalence?

Jeez, the ****ing state of our political discourse today. On one hand you've got an anti-semitism probe within the Labour party, so a candidate for leadership of that party, who has committed to expelling anti-semitism from the party, is dressed up as Hitler (possibly by the poster himself) - someone who is clearly famous for ordering the execution of millions of Jews.

On the other hand you have someone accused of being a bully by the staff of three separate government departments, who has either ignored or rejected these complaints and apparently seems to revel in the description of being a tough no-nonsense minister, drawn as a bull. (=bully, get it?)

I ask again, are you seriously saying this is an equivalence?

Are you also a moderator on here? pathetic.

Surely it would have been funnier to put her in a red and white striped shirt with a dart in her hand and photoshopped her between Jim Bowen, a tankard and a fat couple from Barnsley?

By stopping the record rainfall of course. Corbyn would've achieved that.
Clearly I didn't mean it was the PM's fault that the rain caused flooding.

However, I tell you what Corbyn would have done - he'd have been right there on the coal face, empathising with those most affected and announcing a COBR and various (admittedly costly) measures to ensure those whose businesses and homes were most severely impacted received the support they needed.

What he probably wouldn't have done, is continue on his Caribbean holiday paid for by one of his Tory party donor chums. To be fair, this applies to pretty much every political leader except the useless :wanker: we have in charge.

Wouldn't have stopped it.

They would ensure a fairer spread of rain so the wettest got less and the driest got more.

The rain it raineth on the just
And also on the unjust fella;
But chiefly on the just, because
The unjust hath the just’s umbrella.
