[Politics] Next leader of the Labour Party

No I think it was a blinder, because it reminded me of your support of Corbyn and your insistence that Bloom was skint. I decided to keep it politically focused, albeit it did highlight an Evangelical trait to your posts.

I change my mind on subjects all the time and what I post on NSC is generally what I think at the time. I'm not an ideologue.

Brilliant, conflating two posters posts who disagree all the time to invent inconsistency. You are better than Cummings surely ?

** now ignored again ** yawn

The typical Clapham Gull method illustrated: “stop being so mean and angry and personalising a good political discussion”, then in the next breath without missing a beat: “you are as shitty as the Tory hate figure Dominic Cummings”

Rinse and repeat ad infintum on NSC, with a few smilies

I know. The Panama law firm files, and previously the tax cheat leaks from Lichtenstein and Switzerland, revealed possibly 10’000’s of very rich people, and corporations, are involved. From plain liars not declaring offshore assets and income in their residence state, to complex webs. Absolutely not just a UK and USA, many of those named are based across the EU.
Code:

Panama papers came to light because Panama entered into a DTA because it benefited them to do so. You have The Dutch Antilles and and British Virgin Islands where we are not there yet. My hopes are that if Jeremy Corbyn gets Power he will open all these Colonies up to scrutiny. And if he does there may or may not be multi millions available to support the NHS shortfall. Maybe there isn't but I would like to find out but he is the first ever Party leader who is promising to look into it

The typical London Irish method. Lazily attacks the ones he is politically close to first.

Easy, easy, easy, easy.

Come on man, you are better than that. Jump out of your Project for the New American Century (it's gone) and start attacking the Project for the New UK Singapore Style Economy.

Well you guys got to get your story straight, ruthless far left ideologue or ineffectual non decision maker? Can’t be both can it?

Reality is both are silly caricatures. He’s a democrat who cares about how working people cast their vote in 2016 while knowing Boris Johnson’s Brexit is about attacking people by selling off the NHS to Americans and turning us into an offshore tax haven where the rich will only get richer.

Brexit isn’t the biggest issue of our times, it was always a symptom of the crisis we are in of how we create a society and economy that works for all working people and not the privileged elites

dont need to get anything "straight", im not part of a collective and dont recall saying he's an idealogue. i was simply admiring your faith. didnt you also refer to May as formidable earlier? its clever to create the image of little uncle Corbyn fighting against the enemies of the people. this may be his core political strategy.

Not right wing at all, but Populist Neo-Liberal. They are "New Tory".

A right wing Tory party wouldn't:

1) Throw the DUP and the Union under a bus.
2) Increase post study immigrant student visas to 2 years to fill low paid jobs.
3) Suggest an illegal immigration amnesty to further help with the above.
4) Threaten the UK manufacturing and farming industries by doing trade deals that import cheap goods from non EU countries with low wages and regulations.
5) Promise a "spending spree" to fool the electorate in areas of the country you couldn't give a toss about in the past.

I hope traditional Tory voters are happy with their new party.

Your definition is accurate but most people want to see things in simple terms so given they are neither left or centre then by my reckoning that only leaves right.....

Interesting points you make but remember the NAZI party decided that some Poles were ok IF they had blond hair and blue eyes so the lines can be adapted to fit the narrative. The DUP were only useful if you want to keep NI , as soon as it lost its worth (cause it threatened BREXIT ) then NI could go and the DUP with it.

What we certainly agree on is that we have a group of people who are only interested in their self agrandissement and have as always managed to convince a large segment of the population that its a good thing even though they will not benefit in either the short or long term.
