£135k TV bonus. That represents roughly a £5 subsidy per seat. Much of which the club would get back as the lower prices stimulated more demand. Demand will be particularly sensitive to price because money is tight at this time of year, the ko time is less convenient if you have to travel any distance and of course because everyone can watch for free on TV.

Interesting to see what the prices will be.

Would they be the 2 from Cleethorpes ? you know, the father and son !!!

They would indeed. But apparantly the uncle's going now too. I hope he can be accommodated.

I really don't understand the logic behind this, Does anybody really think the club/business is going to pass on the chance to make a few quid?
It's a first team game, its not an unattractive tie and it'll most likely sell out anyway. The prices will be exactly the same as for any other game. Why would tickets for a match against premiership opposition be any cheaper?

FA cup games are priced separately and agreed by both clubs. I've looked back over my bank statements which I had to hand and I'm fairly sure we paid £20 for this fixture in the 4th round. Liverpool was only a tenner iirc.

Talk Sport have confirmed they'll be commentating live from The Amex as well.

For those who can't tolerate Andy Townsend, just put the radio commentary on instead. Although you might have put up with Brummy Collymore instead.

My WSU ticket v Wrexham was £16.80. Newcastle on round 4 was full price @ £28.

The cheapest seat in the West Upper for Sunderland, Liverpool and Newcastle was £24, that's what I paid for my season ticket seat last season for those games. I'd expect them to be around £28 this time.

I must have been getting confused with the Wrexham game, my apologies.

I think you're going to be disappointed if you expect to see anything other than 100% of the match-by-match price for all seats.

North/WSU Wings/South - £28
WSU Middle - £32
WSL Wings - £34
WSL Middle-ish, ESL, ESU - £37
WSL Middle - £39

All plus £2 booking, of course.

It's going to be an interesting test of support.
