New legislation regulating pornography

The dull part of the south coast
I think there's a big difference between the noddy mags that we used to gawp at when teenagers 30-40 years ago, where there would be some naughty stories and a few flap shots, which inevitably be superglued together within a week or two, and the vast array of porn available today.

At least we could convince ourselves that the acts described in the reader's wives tales in Penthouse etc were feasible, and there was a natural barrier in having enough pocket money to afford to buy a niff book. Today most porn is available at zero marginal cost to the viewer, and within seconds you can be viewing DVDA or Belgian Biscuits, which, let's be honest, are not really part of a loving long term relationship...............unless you're German.

Any chance that Belgian Biscuits will be on special offer in the kiosks for the Fulham game, or have I truly grasped the wrong end of someone's stick?

You could always find a stash in quite obscure places, looking back I am guessing some saddo was having one in the bushes, but Knave, Readers Wives and Forum could always be found in the bushes in my local park or randomly in the middle of some road, smuggling them home was the tough bit ...

Agreed, definitely a good source when I was growing up. Oddly, I recently saw a few mags in a hedge (I wasn't, ahem, looking for them but a load of pages were loose on the road) so it obviously still happens.........I can give directions to the spot if needed, but it was a little while ago and it's rained a fair bit since then.

According to the definitive tome on this particular subject, the Viz Profanisaurus, what you are referring to is technically known as the Bongo Bush.

It should not be mistaken with the collection of grumble your old man used to keep hidden in the loft, which should be referred to as Gash In The Attic.

I think it's fair to inform you that El Presidente has contributed more than most to that particular tome, and thus knows his way around it quite proficiently

It genuinely worries me mate , I have told them hat it's not the stuff they should be looking at , I think after reading your post I might try explaining why in more detail , but we both know what 13 and 15 year old boys are like , I knew far better than my stupid parents at that age !

Another one mildly shocked to find herself agreeing with you.

But I could murder you perfectly freely if I made it my business? Interesting concept this libertarianism

Yeah you don't understand the philosophy at all.

The whole basis is built on allowing people to live their lives as they choose up until the point they cause physical harm to person or property.

So you cannot just murder anyone because that is completely against all it is built on.

It's easy to sum up in one famous old quote I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.

That's all based on the assumption that women don't enjoy porn too and that's it's all driven by men.
Very outdated and sexist view that one.
Using the handful of my ex-girlfriends as a straw poll, there seems to be a huge disparity of opinion on this subject. I would very much appreciate some input from the female NSCers on this, although I'm not expecting any of them to come on and say 'yeah, I love it!' Presuming there is a 'daft bints' group on NSC, maybe Edna could organise a survey of opinion amongst them and anonymously quote some views?

Accessing the internet lets modern children access the most inappropriate material parents need to be aware of it, brings me on to a mate who looked at his search history after his 8 year son had used his PC to find 'good looking fanny's', he'll learn .......
It's unclear whether he came across his father's search history or actually made that search himself. I'd be quite surprised if the latter because I wasn't interested in such things at that age (despite having no sister!)
To ban it from the net is nie on impossible, i would have thought, so educating children that it is not really a part of a loving relationship is the way forward
Are you advocating telling children that people in loving relationships shouldn't indulge in these things?
