The worst one was that black & blue Sheffield Wednesday away kit which we had to endure twice at the Amex. When our players backs were turned, it was quite hard to tell the teams apart. I'm not a fan of black football shirts as a rule, and that was up there with the very worst of them.

I take it you didn't much like our blue and black striped second kit back in the late nineties/early noughties then?, or whenever it was.

Thought it looked good myself.

That was my favourite away kit, shame we hardly wore it though. I think it was worn in the 94\95 season.

I believe it was worn once only in a competitive game, away at Swansea in August 1994, and in a pre season friendly v Spurs at the Goldstone.

I think "Pride, Passion, Coventry" is bang up there with the crapper marketing slogans I've seen recently.

I like this Wigan away shirt.

But it is of course completely pointless, as it's far too close in colour to their home shirts. When they play a team who wear blue, they won't be able to wear their home kit, and no referee is going to allow them to wear this either. Just an excuse to produce a third shirt.
