Looks like they've taken inspiration from the old 80's / early 90's style kits they had. I like UA...but not keen on this effort, or the away shirt they've got.

I wont be buying it and thats saying something

They didn't, nor did they even sell the long sleeve version (ie the actual keeper jersey).

I thought it was ProStar when I saw the logo. Remember them? Used to make cheap and nasty kits for non-professional sports teams. Anyone over about 25 must have played in a ProStar kit at some point in their childhood.

Even without the logo, that would look really poor.

This, on the other hand- from Exeter- has a little of the retro Southampton about it, but I don't think it's any worse for that.

Ooh, ProStar, about as much plastic as you could get into a piece of sportswear before it becomes completely rigid. Lovely stuff.

Indeed. I mean you're always off to a bad start when you've only get red and yellow to work with.

I am being a bit unfair on Southampton though, their kit is also terrible.
