Good God nooooo. I'd forgotten all about that monstrosity since you brought it up, (which is just what l feel like doing with my dinner now).

The Talbot car factory of course was in Coventry, formerly Hillman.

I quite liked the faded kit when I first saw it but seeing it turn up in different colours for different teams I think we deserve better than that and I've gone off it now.

This is how easy it is to get something right, it would sell bucket loads but we will end up with some utter dross with a panel slapped across the front. It really isn't hard to produce a shirt that will sell...

Even our worst designed shirts will sell. Football fans are a very loyal breed, and those who've always bought shirts will continue to do so.

Some might sell more, if they're particularly desirable, of course.

That away kit is HIDEOUS and the way it's been photographed with the background genuinely made me squint. It's going to be one of those kits like Blackburn and Sheff Weds that is very hard to distinguish from ours from the back of the WSU or if you are colour blind. Awful.

Au contraire. I like it. QPR have always been known as a team who play in hoops and that fits the bill rather than these bland one colour away shirts that most teams seem to provide these days.

I've set my expectation that we will be getting a variation of this utter catastrophe of a kit, straight off the Sunday League shelf.

Players back at Lancing today so hopefully they will shoot the new kit and promote it tomorrow.

It's a photoshop of the Corinthians away kit from a few seasons ago. I would still love this to be the shirt, I'd 100% buy it. Not a chance in hell of that happening however.
