PB has said travel is out of there hands
Perhaps PB would like a bowl for the ritual washing of hands? It certainly feels that way. Getting to and from the ground has become an issue for many supporters and the club don't really give a feck.

There may not be much they can do about SASTA's inadequacy. Given, however, the spend on the fanzone, would it cost that much to provide some shelter from the elements for people queuing for the inadequate public transport. At our 'Sustainable Transport Venue'?

Won’t the fanzone double up as a warm and dry place to “queue”?

Many people will happily pay that and do already at such venues.
Fair enough if that floats their boat. I doubt it will hold much appeal after an Amex evening fixture when most people are focused on getting home, but if it works for you, fair play.

Seeing as the club struggle for part time staff to fill the concourse food outlets in August and September whilst Uni students are not around, how will they find an extra 100+ in the same period and in summer , if any event is on in the summer.

Dependent on the result? A rare home PL win and far more people will be willing to have a few more drinks until the train/bus queues have gone.

Maybe, on a Saturday. But the trains are not too bad for Saturday games at 12:30/15:00/17:30 kick off times; I'd suggest also there's generally less pressure/imperative for people to get away quickly from the ground on a Saturday.

20:00 week night kick off. Different story altogether. People want away promptly when the game finishes at 22:00 on a week night. The service is poor/inadequate. If the club believe an outside extension to Sodexo's inside service will alleviate the train and bus queue pressure in these circumstances, I believe they are mistaken.

Will the fanzone even stay open post match for these games? Transport issues for staff and associated costs for unsociable hours/Licence restrictions.

My key point really is not about the fanzone per se; rather that if the club are washing their hands off the transport issues, they should at least consider providing covered waiting areas for supporters in queues for transport away from the stadium.

It doesn’t, I’m with you. I just see endless queues for such fayre at every game so the demand for overpriced piss in a plastic pot or tasteless junk in a poly tray is most definitely there.

The marshalling is a disgrace, it makes it ten times slower than it needs to be. I've just accepted it now, having in the past tried to discuss with powers that be. It could and should be done a lot quicker. But no one cares enough, and it's all about taking your place in the line of lemmings instead.
I think the accepted answer to that is: "Tch! We're mid-table in the Prem and all people can do is moan about the transport!" Others then sagely point out that it can be problematic getting away from most grounds and we shouldn't complain about the Amex.

That last answer irritates me perhaps more than it should. Yes other grounds have their issues, but at places like Wembley etc I don't know what they can do. At the Amex we know that the problems could be helped by better stewarding, and better marshalling of the train and P&R bus queues, and certainly better loading of the trains. (And maybe better marshalling of the car parks as well but I've never used those). That is 100% within the powers of the club to sort out. And even the excellent idea of the bus lane at the junction could be achieved in co-operation with the council.

And I know people will still sneer and say it won't make any difference, but at least the knowledge that it was (finally) being down efficiently would remove at least a level of the frustration.

Brighton factually.....
Great opportunity to luzz beer and benches on the folks below (y)

In all seriousness, that looks like it will be a nightmare on game day an hour before kick off, absolutely rammed.
