Agree also don't forget the planting of bombs in shopping centers

if you take a look at the person he was before prison (or more the person he says he was in his book) and the person he was once being freed and elected it simply makes no sense at all how he turned from freedom fighter to robotic clone politician...
rumours are Nelson Mandela is a Knight of Malta. and was allowed to reach the position of power due to keeping quiet about the origin of AIDS and various other things that made sure the game was rigged.
oh, and his misses ordered lots of torture.....
icon of the times? not for me...
all of this :guitar:Which of course he didn't do. But don't let simple facts get in the way of your right wing hatred of a true freedom fighter who brought down a right wing racist regime.
and brunswick, ffs stop with the knights of malta shite before you begin to start to sound like that raving moron colinz.
Beggars belief a comment like that but presumably fishing for attention

In 1993 - 1994, Nelson Mandela could have plunged South Africa into civil war. He chose reconciliation. Irrespective of what he did or did not do prior to that, for this alone he should be respected and revered, imo.
For the record, he has never denied that the ANC and Umkhonto we Sizwe in particular, violated human rights. In fact, he was extremely critical of members of the ANC who tried to hide this fact from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
