Whilst I 100% agree with Naylor's point, it doesn't reduce my dislike for the man. He seems to have a real chip on his shoulder about Albion fans. Don't think I've ever seen an article from him which is positive about our support, or how much we appreciate where we are, just picks up on the utter cnuts who feel the need to bitch and moan. Half a dozen people shout "get it forward" against Bournemouth - BOOM. Column. People moan about Barnes - BOOM. Column. I for one have regularly shouted down people who've piped up with the nonsense that gets spouted at Barnes, Navarro, Dicker, Painter or Ankergren (who I like to think of as the Haters Dream 5-a-side team), and I'm not the only one.
Naylor knows full well these people are an idiotic minority, because he crowbars it in as his justification for the article as an afterthought. So why bother with it? For every person who pipes up with a stupid moan there's half a dozen who call them a twat, or certainly this is the case around me in WSU. I'm sure I'll get the "his job is to sell papers" argument but I personally would rather any positivity or criticism, whichever was required, came from a bonafide local who understands the core Albion support and isn't just along for a jolly whilst secretly wanking over Rory Delap's cannonball throws.

Brighton Rock - what is your qualification for a bona fide local ? I doubt you have seen more Albion games than Andy Naylor somehow.

This was all discussed this morning. I think Barnes has a contract until July 2013. You'll have to wait and see about the rest! Keep em peeled.

Barnes is absolutely nailed on for a new contract. Possibly only him and Greer are the most certain along with Bridcutt.

I think you may be wrong as he signed a two year contract in July 2010 unless it has been extended since then.
