Fans pay their money, they can do what they like with their time.

I agree. Personally, I think everyone should stay in position from minute 1-45(plus added time) then set off for the queue to pee and be back for minutes 46-90(plus added time). However, what I think doesn't matter and people can do whatever the hell they want to do. I was contemplating heading off after 43 minutes on friday, my desire to urinate was at an advanced stage. However, I opted to close out the half and then swiftly set off.

That moment you get to the urinal is one of THE great human experiences.

I never leave before the final whistle , who wants to miss the conclusion of a match ?, and now with crowds of 25,000 plus I should imagine that early leavers are caught in a crowd to get a train - so it is even more pointless. I agree that it is a shame that the players are now faced with a half empty stadium at final whistle.

Never really been bothered about people leaving early....it would offend me as a player though, if i can be bothered to go round to each side of the ground at the final whistle to clap my fans (CMS). It would be nice if there were a few faces to clap to rather than backs of heads.

I tend to hang around after the game in the concourse for 2 reasons
1)I prefer to wait and have a pint while the 'Q's die down and then take a stroll to the station and jump on the train without having to wait.
2) As CMS has said he plays every game like his last, I tend to agree and treat every game as if it's my last visit and I like to savour and enjoy every match day....you never know what's going to happen

I make you right mate

I know this has been covered many times before BUT I do wish people would stay in their seats.

In the East Upper from the 34th Minute people were going out for half time.

and leaving from, 80 onwards...

Now I know that you can leave as and when you want but please think of the others around you, stopping on your way out to watch any action is not appreciated by people you are in front of.

One rather rotund chap leaves every game ( yes I am sad and have been timing him) on the 34th minute and does not return until 54th minute.strange thing is he leaves his kid sitting alone in the seats.

Now I know it is your money that you are wasting but why bother coming ??
Stay in the pub and listen on the radio.

Stewards were good last night, one drunk chap was walking up the steps by the seats with a pint in each hand...I watched incase it kicked off but the young steward was firm and polite and the drunk chap was turned around and escorted back to the concourse.

reference the people leaving early why cant all seats have a restraint like a theme park ride that is only released on 90 mins? that would stop em!!! ( oh that's a joke BTW_
I know its his

I couldn't agree more!

Of course there are a few who will need to get away quickly as they have long journeys, but surely on a Friday evening, no work (for most anyway) or school the next day people could have stayed to the end and given the team the ovation they deserved.

Having said that, the club have failed to address many of the transport issues, which unfortunately encourages people to leave early.

I think it's pretty shitty for the players, especially when they have just belted the massive Sheff Weds :)lol:) and half of the fans have evacuated instead of clapping the players off.

This(sort of) , I stay home & away till the last man has left the pitch but that's my decision and I respect others if they need to get home for whatever reason
