My feeling, and it's been touched on by some, is that this isn't a 'let me go' post, it's a 'i'm gone' post. Feels like the deal is done from the wording.
So why’s he gone crying to Instagram?

He’s made an illegal (football laws) deal with Arsenal on wages.

Which means Jack Shit if Bloom says no. Hence the crying to Instagram.

“I am proud to be able to bring in a record transfer fee for Brighton which would allow them to reinvest it and help the club to continue to be successful.”

Since when do players wanting out stick their two pennies worth on club finances?

I realise that Edu/@agent really wrote this. But still.
Got as far as the 3rd word but got too overwhelmed by the bullshit to go any further.

What does the club do from this? I really dont know. We keep the same stance and we could have a sulky player for the rest of the season. Or try to striker a deal now but Arsenal/Chelsea probably wont go higher than £60/65m as they know our position is weakened.

Looked on the agent's instagram and it seems they have a lot of Ecuadorean players. Seems like Moises went for an easy/convenient agent instead of a great one

Let him be sulky, can’t reward stunts like this.

People who understand how Bloom and Barber work are reducing the odds now. Hope everyone got on at 11/2?

I don't think that's on the table, sadly - it's essentially a sale-and-loan-back.

Arsenal want him now to help their push for the title. Come the summer that may have changed for any number of reasons.
I guess we'll have to see how it pans out. I know I'll be in the minority but I'm pretty calm about the whole saga. Him leaving is a case of when not if and I trust the club to get a good deal if he leaves in this window.

I keep reminding myself that we are set to recoup 80% of the initial investment in the stadium from a player who's played less than 30 games for us and cost a relative pittance. Phenomenal really.

I’m assuming that’s where the Heidara interest comes in. Maybe we pushed for him now instead of the summer anticipating this?
This has been dismissed as bullshit by the usual doom mongers. We might sell at a big fee we don’t buy anyone for a biggish fee. £18m-20m seems our top end limit.

Oh well, we could all save face here.

Sale to Arsenal (or whoever) with a loan back to the end of the season.

Player gets his payrise, BHA get £100m.
Sorted.
😉
I think loan back deals between PL clubs are now against the rules.

Ah well, whatever happens, at least it gives fans a different player - and London club - to be angry with for a while 🤣🤣🤣

Still reckon he'll stay, but he's DEFIANTLY off in the summer.
