Half way through the season with a team in 6th (could go 5th after games in hand). Interest and bids from big clubs who will still want you in 6 months time and he decides to do this. Unreal. Knew he was a rat
This is what Tony does to rats.

A fire sale is really when we are trying to sell everything off cheaply (after a fire). This is something else - where players seem to be calling the tune.
A fire sale is a rapid turnover of players exiting the club in a short timeframe, typically to raise monies because of financial difficulties, but not necessarily exclusively.

We are experiencing a fire sale if MC goes this window IMO, in context of this and the last together coupled with Off field Mgr team poaching too.

I hope they refuse to sell and that he spends the rest of the season proving to Arsenal's rivals that at 21 he's worth more than a poxy £60m.
We are being bullied, picked on & raped and it is a wholly miserable feeling. Why can’t we say NO until the season finishes?
They like the cash, agents no which buttons to press isn’t it a bit obvious. Arsenal will add £15m on top £5m in add ons and he will be off. Naylor will tweet the usual the club didn’t want to sell held out for the best possible deal bollocks. Whilst in the mean time we can’t get a CB the manager wants over the line from a club in a war torn country.

My hope is TB says no now and offers him (well his agents really) a "stay at the club for 6 months" bonus, then lets him go to the highest bidder in the summer.
In a way that's giving in. He shouldn't need a bonus. Honestly f*** him. Nobody is bigger than the club.

I can well understand why any footballer would want to grab a chance at the earliest opportunity. It's all well us saying just wait but they may look at the chance of injury or something worse like Mwepu. To them it's a job.
They can still show a bit of loyalty or decency. I don’t agree with that at all. He can go in the Summer if he’s that desperate and there will be loads wanting him.

Skybet have him 11/2 to stay… If you’re all so confident why don’t you make some money from it.

We let clubs walk all over us so I’m sure he will be gone. The entire coaching staff left only a few months ago in a matter of days after being linked with Chelsea…

This also fucks up our chances Sunday too - let alone the rest of the season - whether he stays or goes. Just does my head in that agents can cause this much of a f*** up. Piss poor. Deflated now, and was buoyant he’d be going nowhere and would be sticking to his word. @trueblue etc - I apologise I was unfortunately well wrong. A lot of footballers and agents are just greedy ungrateful dickheads 😕
Yep…..long term view - cool, knew he would leave, huge fee, wish him well Etc

Immediate view - his agent is a moneygrabbing cvnt, he’s been badly advised and now won’t be playing on Sunday whatever happens which massively impacts our chances of progressing

Happy Friday kids.
So that's...
Cucu forced move.
Tross forced move.
Moises forced move.
In 6 months.
Looks a bit careless. Perhaps we need to look at our dickhead policy.
Nah. They're not dickheads, but even if they were, you wouldn't say that signing those players has been bad for us. They've performed well for us and been sold for a massive profit.

But I do think we need to start letting players understand that they will be able to move, but not necessarily straight away.

And if they actually down tools, I reckon the club could afford to let them play in the reserves for a couple of years as an example to others. We won't stand in a player's way, as long as they act professionally.

Maybe I’m a bit pissed, but what the f*** are some of you on that players are just going to want to carry on playing here while the promise of 3 or 4x their wages and potentially winning a title medal is on the table?

We’re not in a fairytale, it’s just football. It’s been like this for a 100 years.
It's the way you do it. Doing stuff like this, on social media, especially now we are so high profile and the way the Tross thing was managed to be turned around negatively mugs us off. Nobody wants to stop players moving on..but there's no class in this.
