Looks like Ajax are after a bigger fee from West Ham than we'd agreed (if you're to believe the waffler)
not going by Jacobs but Ajax did say when they gave us a deadline to complete did suggest if we failed they would only accept a far higher fee

Nice. And I would 100% recommend Rosella's Italian just up past where the Forum used to be (or still is).Just round the corner from daughter number two’s flat!! We had a few celebratory drinks there after the 3-0 win at Arsenal last season

Yep sounds a bit high maintenance. This one's a proper ballache of a transfer saga. Kinda glad we've fallen out of the running for him, no matter how good he's meant to be.
I wonder if the €50m ( plus buy-out clause ) still looks attractive to West Ham now that the Lucas Paquetá deal has seemingly collapsed?
My opinion is that West Ham will soon be in the market for a new central midfielder, someone who can cover that position for a long time. Can understand the Paqueta deal collapsing given what might be about to happen to him
Can see why west ham must be frustrated. We negotiated a deal for kudus which was expensive as it stands and now Ajax are shifting the goal posts (which they have every right to do this close to the deadline).West Ham reportedly still bidding. This whole saga seems almost as longwinded as Caicedo's.
West Ham's second Mohammed Kudus offer rejected by Ajax
West Ham have had a second offer for Mohammed Kudus rejected by Eredivisie giants Ajax.www.90min.com
Well, they will. But Ajax must more money sloshing around than us. They've probably had to build some massive vault outside the Amsterdam Arena, to horde the massive treasure which PL clubs keep sending their wayCan see why west ham must be frustrated. With our interest as bait, Ajax will be laughing all the way to the bank.
Don't blame them one little bit for trying it on. They see two clubs with £100m+ in brand new fifties stuffed into their trousers. It's the stuff of dreams for a selling club. I'm sure west ham will play the game. We don't (normally). Can see why west ham must be frustrated. Stuff of dreams for the selling club - or the stuff of nightmares if the player keeps refusing personal terms. Imagine how awkward it woud be if Caicedo turned down Liverpool, but Chelsea had then come back and said, no thanks, we're not bidding any higher.Don't blame them one little bit for trying it on. Ajax had a turnover similar to Albion last year, and made a €24M loss, despite a profit of €38M on player sales...Well, they will. But Ajax must more money sloshing around than us.
