If she wasn't white. attractive and middle class, maybe this wouldn't have got the publicity and attention it has ......
As if anyone would try and bring racism into this… oh.

Wasn't it mentioned that the river is tidal there and depending on the rise and fall The body could have shifted swiftly.

Brighton factually.....
That's further downstream. Where the dive team initially looked the river wasn't fast flowing at all hence their surprise at not finding anything.
If she has fallen in the river, her body should surface at some point, even if currently submerged or stuck somewhere like under a bank.

Last night I read (caveat again: I now can't recall if this is credible or nutjob territory) that there's a weir downstream and when sheep fall in, they're generally stopped by the weir and make it no further. It's because of this that I think the lead chap of the diving investigation company that helped scan the river, has said he doesn't think she went into it.

The 16 year old who went into the river 45 years ago was found near Shard bridge about 7 miles downstream but he had been washed over the weir. Am not sure exactly where the weir is.

Just watched an update on the BBC news - the only non-CCTV exit from where she was goes out onto a busy road and the police have traced 700 cars that went past that spot on the day in question.
If nothing comes from those enquiries and they cannot find her in the river, I am not sure what else they can do tbh.

Do they even exist? I can't understand why anyone would got through the hassle of removing a harness, unless it was padded, the dog likes water and they don't want it wet, as they take hours to dry. If the dog liked water, he'd be on a lead by a river. I let him go in the swamp like disgusting stuff beside the river Ouse but I put him on lead near the actual river. Wouldn't faff around taking his harness off. I also have 2 tags in him, 1 on the harness and 1 on the collar in case he slipped the harness. 🤷‍♀️
You take him to the Harveys brewery?

I saw that there was a £10k reward for tracking them down. They were last seen in Cantercrow Hill road in Newhaven, probably camping near by.
Yes, the police have been door to door in Denton, and searching the surrounding countryside.

How many white actors, of any class, do you see in adverts on tv now? It's certainly not representative of the white population in this county. It doesn't worry me greatly but let's not pretend that discrimination is all one way. It most certainly isn't.

You still watch adverts? For Gods’ Sakes man, put your hand in your pocket and get some subscriptions. Are you working class or something?

Girls or women going missing always freak me out a bit. Maybe it was growing up with an older and younger sister that I got anxious about, going out on Saturday nights and living life to the full. This is just so strange. It's like she's been taken up my helicopter to somewhere and done a Reggie Perrin.

Just hoping for good news but exactly a fortnight is quite a while. Thinking of her family and friends at this desperate time. 😫

Hope this ends up positively. It must be really horrible experiencing a close one just suddenly vanish like this. Sending out my positive thoughts.

Just seen on the missing peoples website, in the UK 170,000 people go missing every year and by the end of March 2020 5,300 people had been registered missing for over a year, over 1,700 of them were children!

That’s a very alarming stat I would never have guessed. Thoughts go out to all of them. Very sad.

But the initial analysis was this wasn't the case
